Sorry, you were right. It was over 3 years ago. I did a search and got the date.

Shame. I'd love to know where in the world Darius is just now and in what order he's going to juggle the things which appear to be in the pipeline - the wedding, 3rd album promotion and Chicago.

The ratings for HB episode 6 are in - 3.1 million. I'm sure that doesn't count recordings but I'm unsure whether it includes the HD channel. The show went out at the same time on HD. It's a lot more than have ever seen Darius play any other role.

But, however good he was, if people don't know of him they wont know anything about him other than the sleaze - which isn't him at all.
If people know nothing of him, won't they think he's just another actor playing the role of a horrid person, not assume that the real person is like the character. I think that tends to happen only where someone is a regular character in a series or soap or the hero/villain in a blockbuster movie.

It always depends on the media - they seem to have tried to paint him as sleazy at times.

OMG i thought that Darius was Fantastic playing the role, and i love seeing his darker side  ......He looked and sounded soooo Sexy too of course  !.......and he can get rough like that with me anytime ;) !!This has given people who havn't seen him act yet, the chance to see that he can as Fantasticly as he can sing, and that he is capable of taking on any role perfectly :D .

I'd try my best to flatten anyone who tried to get rough with me. I'm glad you enjoyed it Sharon. Let's hope for some album news soon.

I forgot to say the ratings of 3.1 million was 200,000 up on the previous episode. If the next 2 can build on that, then possibly HB will be recommissioned. I was reading in the paper today that Jonathon Ross's show was only averaging in the 3-4 million range this year.

There had been rumblings online about HB not being as good as it once was, long before this series was aired.

I think the first couple of series were loosely based on incidents from the book of the same name and so had the ring of authenticity but latterly, the stories have been made up by scriptwriters. I should think it must be hard to write 2-3 stories and also ensure that all of the regular cast appear in every show.

When I remember, Julie asked about the name of the actor from Vicar of Dibley who played Ken. He's Trevor Peacock. James Fleet who was in Denise Van Outen's episode was also in the Vicar of Dibley. I think they're both fine actors.

I think all of the actors in Darius's episode were great, including Kelly Osbourne. She played her part well. I believe I recognised the swimmer's father as an actor who had a long ongoing storyline in the Bill a few years back.

I loved the exchange between James and Tony when Tony was collecting the wheatgrass juice.

James : Is your shark girl a cow?

Tony: No, but her mother is!

How right he was! Bar Fazio, she was the most unsympathetic character.

I watched again on iplayed and enjoyed it more and loathed Darius' character more as well.
Thought the story line was silly, but it was excellent acting from Darius. Not sure about the accent, but he really made me squirm. Was impressed with Kelly Osbourne as well. Looking forward to playing it again. Sue

Darius didn'rt have the same accent as the Italians who live around me but they all learnt English as grown ups. If Darius' character learnt it as he went through school then American English may have been the way he was taught. Darius is always very careful with accents and puts a lot of work into them.
Yeah i thought that i could here a bit of Ameriacan in there too.....like you have already said Meg,Darius always puts time and effort into getting these accents just right, and i love the way he picks them up so naturaly :D
I remember Darius saying somewhere that he worked in an Italian restaurant when he was a student and he said somewhere that one of the jobs he hated there was cleaning the pizza ovens.
