August 4, 200915 yr just watched it again on tvondemand - he was good, as again I forgot he was Darius! could see a bit of Rhett in that walk and hand positioning,
August 4, 200915 yr I agree the very last seconds of D's storyline were relatively weak. Sam gives him a less than menacing stare and he meekly walks away? Five star hotel or not, I wanted Sam to find a backbone, deck him one, order him out and ensure security threw him out. As the introduction showed there's more than one exit. When I watched the show when it aired, that knee thing chilled me but on subsequent viewings, when Gennaro was about to kiss Juliet, I had a flashback to the very first Colourblind kiss, which I've always thought was beautifully done. Question - Who audibly fluffs a line? It isn't Darius and it isn't Kelly either.
August 4, 200915 yr Author No idea, I was rather centered on the most horrible charecter in the show that week
August 4, 200915 yr It's amazing how many people, because they know I like Darius, have got in touch with me about this, even my physio this morning had watched it and all of them were impressed by his acting ability. Sue
August 4, 200915 yr ooh - do tell, I didnt pick that up watching ondemand or originally. that is the trouble with HB - all the storylines do fizzle out to abruptly or simplistically at the end,.
August 4, 200915 yr God I am so glad to get back on here. Have been trying for days. Thought Darius was great in HB in spite of the part loved it. Great to see so many positive comments but could have done with a lot more including media. Thought he did a good job, more please, perhaps a movie, am always looking at the movie sites in case.!!!
August 4, 200915 yr Author I just want an albujm. I know he'll go wityh what he feels to be right but purely selfishly, I'd love an album.
August 4, 200915 yr Author I'm not too interested in films. I'd go and see one with Darius in it but it wouldn't be like hearing him sing.
August 4, 200915 yr It's good to have you back, Preston. Seeing Darius capitalise on an appearance by doing anything public in its wake fairly soon afterwards, would be an entirely novel experience, not known since before he took himself off to LA.
August 4, 200915 yr I'm not too interested in films. I'd go and see one with Darius in it but it wouldn't be like hearing him sing. He could sing in the movie Meg :naughty: though a live intimate acoustic gig would be my overall preferrence, especially to promote a new album :w00t: Shame there's no sign of one at the moment :( I thought D was ok in HB. There is something about his acting occasionally that niggles me, but I can't say exactly what it is. Too many facial expressions reacting to others maybe  I also think I would like to see him act using his own natural accent, so I could then concentrate on his acting instead of being distracted a little by his voice. Maybe it will happen one day. Had a nasty shock when I thought this final D info centre was gone for good, so I thought I better pop in and say hello all :)
August 5, 200915 yr Author Hi Paul, Even singing in a film just isn't singing live. I'm fussy. We just have to wait and see and I'm really wanting something new for the 'see' bit.
August 5, 200915 yr The fluffed line was Dexter Fletcher's (Tony's) aside just before he starts the wedding ceremony. It's well down in the mix and he says it softly but he definitely says "I really need to ask for a play rise." Tony is my favourite HB staff member. I believe Dexter has just made a film. I'll be interested in seeing that. A  for Paul. Edited August 5, 200915 yr by Baytree
August 5, 200915 yr Author I'll agree with that. I haven't 'warmed' to any of the others. I may not watch it anymore now. The team building episode finished it for me. If I were Juliet I'd have told Sam where to go. I only put it on this week because Darius was in it.
August 5, 200915 yr yup, I dont think I want to watch any more, although it depends on what else is on I suppose,
