June 28, 200916 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006wym5 Sorry, I forgot the link. Thanks Meg. In the Sunday Times Culture Magazine it actually praises this week's episode. It says they have finally got the humour just right. Sue
June 28, 200916 yr We did but I felt I'd seen it before, there didn't seem anything new on it. I've still to watch Hotel Babylon. Yeah i know what you mean Meg,there was a lot that was the same as when its been on before.I still havn't watched Hotel Babylon yet today neither
June 28, 200916 yr I n this last episode although better than last week, i wasnt just some of the acting questionable but for instance the main girl who wa pregant, again didnt like her acting, even had baby bump that didnt look right at all it was in the wrong position, felt generally attention to detail was missing.
June 29, 200916 yr I'm wondering if the MJ one was the same as was shown a few years ago. Yeah, i think you're right Meg,i think it was, they repeaated again yesturday too i think.
June 29, 200916 yr It was better this week. However there are still too many stories going on at once for me. I'll be so glad when the receptionist has that baby. I found the boxer bit a tad too predictable, but I suppose it was needed to prop up the weak "pillows" plotline to show the damage Sam could do by pushing forward with split second decisions without any consultation. I wonder why the boxers and the "green" inspector didn't get listed as guest stars for that episode, although the Brit boxer's manager did. I didn't get the impression he was onscreen more often than the inspector.
June 29, 200916 yr yes, trouble is I think I have to to that age when you have seen every plot, most programs seem to ring a bell plot wise to me. I suppose hotel babylon tries to run like the roginal hotel film, that had lots of little stories from the hotel. I got the impression they were inspired by the Huhstle, the boxing manager played a nasty city guy in htat, but the plot here was vert simple and predictable LOL- roll on darius' appearance
June 29, 200916 yr http://www.bbcshop.com/Travel/Hotel-Babylo...invt/bbcdvd2900 Bit steep but then all the BBC ones are, aren't they? I think I'll hang fire until later. At least we know there is one!
June 29, 200916 yr It looks like 'Torchwood' is now going to take the 9 p.m. slot on Friday, 10th July, so unless they re-schedule 'Hotel Babylon' into another timeslot it looks like D's appearance will be pushed back another week to 31st July!! :( (Another week to wait!!) I have never watched any series of Hotel Babylon before but I am quite enjoying it - as posters say in other Forums, 'it is escapism TV'. The characters are all very different and endearing in their own 'quirky' little way! I certainly hope that when we do eventually see D, that he is in it longer than Ben Fogle was!!!! - Did anybody blink and miss him?!!! Julie
June 29, 200916 yr I've still not seen last weeks - maybe tomorrow. ........no neither have i stil  ......i think i'll watch it tomorrow too,how about watching it togther Meg?lol.I was going to watch it today or tonight, but i wont have time too
June 30, 200916 yr Author Originally there was talk of Hotel Babylon being on at 10pm - maybe it'll be on then.
June 30, 200916 yr Thank goodness. Torchwood is running every weekday night at 9pm next week. I thought TW was replacing HB for 5 weeks.
June 30, 200916 yr Author next time I go shopping I'll look. Last week they had more episodes listed so maybe it misses a week. That'd make episode 6 in August wouldn't it.
July 1, 200916 yr I quite like Torchwood.............well the few I've seen. My daughter loves it BT thanks for the link :) Meg also thanks.....I may just get to watch it over the next days....things have soured
