SynopsisSam bags the hotel's first royal wedding, along with exclusive magazine rights, but a problem develops - the royals won't be there. The Princess of Lichtenstein has cancelled, yet Sam insists the hotel staff pose as the wedding party because he's relying on the magazine revenue to pay off a hefty tax bill.

 

Meanwhile, a kiss with Emily leaves Ben reeling and confused, and James's restaurant is thrown into chaos when a sprightly octogenarian joins the ranks. Elsewhere, a teenage swimming prodigy films a sportswear advert at Babylon, with her supportive manager parents in tow. Tony assumes they have their daughter's best interests at heart, until he discovers a different scenario.

That's the worst episode I've seen. There was absolutely nothing to it. No drama, no passion and those team-building exercises were like kiddies' party games.

 

Thank goodness Darius's episode is written by different writers.

 

 

 

I'm only watching because Darius is on.

Well, I enjoyed the first three (well, two and a half as the first half of the first one was not to good) but the last two have lost all the humour that I'd liked.

The only lively things about last night's were Denise Van Outen being Denise Van Outen all extrovert and bubbly and the row between Sam and Juliet. They could surely have found a stronger plot as a catalyst than the awful team-building one just to bring in a woman Juliet was jealous of. However, for me, Denise didn't really portray a desperate fan even in the break in scene.

 

I've been watching the tiny trailer for Darius's episode. Kelly Osbourne is Kelly Osbourne in all but name.

 

That can definitely not be said for Darius. Gennaro is nowhere near as charming as he first appears.

 

I don't know how good Darius's Italian accent is, but it's definitely not the usual one that most Brits seem to use - the one with all the a's at the end of words.

 

I didn't like the scene with him manhandling Juliet. I thought that was a bit much.

 

However, I expect Darius enjoyed the challenge of being a really nasty piece of work for once rather than romantic lead.

 

I'm reserving judgement until I've seen it. I've only seen the coming next week bit. Is there another preview anywhere else?

Good or just OK as an episode, I'll still buy the video because it's a rarity - an official video recording of something Darius has done. It's not Gone With The Wind but at least it's something.

I really wish they'd done one of GWTW

I didn't like the manhandling scene either, don't know if I want to see Darius being nasty! Glad the writers are different for next week, didn't enjoy last night's episode at all.

 

Have received my confirmation for the DVD Meg. We'll just have to wait and see if it arrives in August. I have every faith it will(famous last words). Sue

thank god it was put back a week coz of torchwood, never thought there would be a time I was glad it was on!! just got back from Devon after a somewhat showery week!! saw the last episode in the caravan, and the trailer for darius!! he looked soooo good, as usual I am watcing through one eye, in case I dont like it..but he looked good and sounded good, he looked quite menacing holding Juliets chin like that too! hope I get it recorded, I dont want the whole series on DVD!!

Neither do I. But I really wanted episode 6 for some reason. I'm now hoping I like it.

Not as good quality but slightly different.
