From what I've read te 4th season seems to be very poor. Angels? They did an episode previously when they all but shunned the existance of such creatures.

 

4th season is good so far. The angels are very interesting, especially Castiel. Only major flaw with the 4th season so far is how $h!t the new Ruby is.

I really dislike the new Ruby :( She doesn't even have blonde hair, they could have at least got someone with blonde hair haha, and oh my gosh Meg looked so different :o

Her name was Katie Cassidy and she was hot. I don't know why they killed her and gave SoulRuby to a Brunette. Don't get me wrong, NewRuby is extremely pretty, but I don't think she's right for the part. :mellow:

The CW cut Supernatural's budget for the 4th season, and the easiest cut backs to make were to get rid of the other series regular characters bar Sam and Dean (Bela and Ruby). Katie Cassidy was on a big contract, that was up for renewl at the end of the season, and they couldn't afford to keep her on the same contract so they let her go. In an interview Eric Kripe did he said if their budget wasn't so low they'd have kept her on for this season.

 

But she's going to be in a show called Harper's Island which starts airing in April on CBS. Looks a really good show it must be said.

Oh and did anyone hear that Kim Manners died recently. He was a producer/director on the show. He directed such eps as Scarecrow & Lazarus Rising.

Yeah. It's a pretty big loss to the show. Scarwcrow is my all time favourite Supernatural episode. He was one of the main guys involved with the show, so it's pretty sad that he died of cancer. All of the cast were really close to him too, so I think it'll leave a big hole in the show.

Oh it definately will, his eps are amoungst my favourites. Such a shame.

Weird episode. But I liked the twist in it. It was certainly interesting how the Siren caught out Sam and Dean by being their ideal brother, and not their ideal woman...

Yeah it was an interesting concept. The ideal brother was a great twist and totally unexpect.

The episode was great. At first i thought that Siren guy was gay or something LOL
