She's the executive producer at the moment. She plays a big role in the show, supervises a lot of things etc. - i'm pretty glad she's going to become the showrunner. Apparently Eric Kripe is not going to lose all involvement in the show, but it just means he's able to do other things for Warner Bros. instead of being the main figurehead of the show.

Sera Gamble has been with the show since Season 1 and has written a lot of great episodes so I feel more relaxed it's not some complete stranger

They've also confirmed that they'll be finishing the current storyline this year and have some great ideas for the new season already.

I wonder how they can followup killing Lucifer? But I'm glad they're not dragging this over 2 seasons...

I'm not sure. I actually have no idea what they'll come back with. I'm expecting all the demon stuff etc. to be pretty much finished with after this season though. From what I gather they've been planning Season 6 for a long time if it actually happened, so I have full faith in the writers.

Not sure if I'm up to scratch yet, but the latest episode I saw last night, was the male tooth fairy  And poor Cassius was turned into a figure, that was so funny.

I don't know where the UK are but that was 5.06 I Believe The Children Are Our Future. It was the last ep to air in Australia.

As for US you are a few behind. When it returns on March 25th it'll be ep 5.15.

Cassius  I think you mean Castiel :P

One more week till the hiatus is over

There's two preview vids for 5.15 floating around...I'll post them when they're uploaded to youtube.

5.16 Dark Side Of The Moon

Interesting ep. A different spin on the concept of Heaven.

Thought the ep made Sam look like an utter dick. The ending was interesting.

A bit of me thinks

Joshua is God

I actually understood and felt sorry for Sam. He has no memory of his mum, he had a terrible time with his father, and his best memories were away from the family drama, being free from all of that crap. I dont think it was intentional of him to leave Dean out, just like he said, he didnt see it that way. I actually found it sad that his best memories were pretending to be with a normal family who were total strangers and being all alone running away from his family - I mean how miserable is that? Although as a teenager being on your own and free from everything is probably a good time.

I could however understand how Dean was hurt, understandably, but it seems like his best memories of Sam were when he was a little kid, who idolised him, before he started to wanna break away from his family, the demon stuff, and everything else that came with it.

I really hope Sam picked up the necklass after Dean threw it in the trash can, and hopefully give it back to him, but this time like he really means it - I think it would be a nice way to mend their relationship, after all, they are indeed soulmates. He did seem to start seeing things from Dean's point of view, and wanted to work together at the end.

The idea of Heaven was definitely interesting, and while I appreciate being able to relive my memories, it sounds like crap that Heaven is just that - no real people, just memories. If I was dead I would wanna be with my family again.

I found the idea of heaven to be REALLY interesting but I am feeling very disappointed with Supernatural atm. I don't think it's the CW's massive hiatuses as I am still absorbed in TVD. There's just something lacking about this season and I feel that a show that improved every year from 1-4 is slipping. The apocalypse story hasn't been handled very well and I'm not the only person I've spoken to who feels the show has gone downhill. I'm very wary of how they're going to finish the season and what will happen in the next.
Yes I agree, this season started off promising enough but lately has really dropped the ball. One can only hope the last few eps make up for it.
I don't really like the apocalyse story arc either. First because I don't care for the whole angels/god/devil stuff, Castiel aside. Plus this season has been inconsistent, and the part that made me love Supernatural in the first place - the relationship between the 2 brothers - has been completely torn apart :(

I know what you mean. But that last episode basically summed it up - Dean & Sam are like glue.

Well I understand the whole splitting Sam and Dean apart its kind of needed if they want to do the whole Michael vs Lucifer showdown.

Yes but I think they tore each other so much that it's impossible for them to go back to where they were before the whole Sam goes demon on us stuff.

99 Problems was awesome

The whole Whore twist was cool, she was awesome.

Drunk Castiel was very funny. Misha did a great job. LOL. Dean leaving at the end was unexpected. Then him showing up at Lisa's was so left field but then again of all the women Dean's been with a few have died so Lisa was an obvious choice.

Spoiler clips for 5.18 Point of No Return aka episode 100

Wow :o

When did Cas learn to fight :P ...Great ep, sorta slow to begin with but the second half definately made up for it. Dean saying yes then tricking Zach was awesome. Blood sigil carved into Cas' chest was cool but why didn't the shirt bleed through?

So Zach's dead and Adam got trapped with Michael so could Adam possibly become a vessel like John?

I was suprised they didn't kill Adam off (again..). I'd guess they want to use his character for something else again. I'd expect if he doesn't show up in the series finale, then he'll be back at some point next year.
