I don't see what's wrong with Paris Hilton? Yes she's a $h!t actress, but the script writers on Supernatural know what they're doing.

 

I could imagine her as a Demon or something trying to seduce Dean. Good casting call imo. Is bound to create a lot of internet hype & discussion and improve the ratings which is what a show like Supernatural needs...

I will place money now that the Paris Hilton episode will be the highest rating episode bat the opener and finale. She's only a guest star, so she'll be in it for one episode most. The script writers are very good. I'm sure they have some sort of spoof lined up. Maybe she actually plays Paris Hilton and Dean and Sam have to help her. There will be sooo much hype for the episode, which is what a show like Supernatural needs. Good decision imo.

Because I think Paris Hilton will be playing herself. The season is all about Armageddon afterall, and everyone will be affected by it. Maybe Paris Hilton gets overtaken by a Demon?

 

It will probably be a bit of both Eric Kripe and and the head script writers decision as they work pretty closely. At the end of a day Supernatural is never the type of show that's going to clean up at the Emmy awards. And it might as well have a bit of fun with the casting at times. Afterall she'll only be in one episode, and it's likely that that episode will be a stand-alone episode so if people don't like it, then don't watch the episode!

If the only reason these fools are gonna watch Supernatural is because Paris fukkin' Hilton's in it, then sorry, but I say fukk that, the show doesn't need so-called "fans" such as this, while at the same time risking alienating the genuine fans who've been watching it since episode one.... This show's been going for four seasons, so, where were all those morons for that...?? Probably watching Simple fukkin' Life, that's what..... <_< The creators could do that story line with a good actress who's well known - hell, why not just ask Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Garner or Scarlett Johansson...??? Certainly far preferable options to Paris Hilton.....

The main reason why I'm kinda a bit biffed about this is because it could go either way. I'm sure the producers know what they're doing, but I can't help feel people won't react to it well and the whole thing will bomb.

She's a character alright.... But not the sort of character who I particularly find remotely interesting or attractive (I dont just mean that in terms of looks, I'm thinking more in terms of charisma and class..) in anyway..... House of Wax was such a bad film even Meryl Streep or Al Pacino wouldn't have been able to save it, true dat, but still.....

 

Well the Supernatural budget is tight string. I'm sure Paris Hilton won't be on a lot of money, a fair amount yes but not a lot. Just look at when they had to let Katie Cassidy go from Supernatural because of budget constraints. People will watch it, then they might get into the rest of Supernatural. CW cannot afford big advertising so it has to rely on fans to spread the word, and this episode will surely get people talking (like we are now...) which is what the whole team behind Supernatural are wanting! Like it or loathe it, it's ALL good promotion for the show which is what it needs!

Details about Hilton's role are being kept under wraps, but we are advised that freaking out is not necessary. A source close to the show tells us: "The fans should trust [show runner] Eric Kripke." (We've heard the storyline, and when you see it you will die. It's awesome.)

The stars are contracted for six seasons. And Kripke did state at comic con that if it does well enough in season five and the network wants them back etc, that they will look at a sixth season.

From what i've read this is going to be the end of the whole Demons storyline after this year, and they only ever intended it to last for 5 seasons. I think it will last for 6 though, but Eric Kripe will hopefully stay on although S6 will be poor imo.

What are they going to do then without any demons? As I've already said where do you go when you've beaten Satan? If they have a good idea then bring it back but please don't let it descend into Smallville and just massacre the show for the sake of it :lol:

Yeah if it gets shyte then everyone will just remember the first 5 seasons and forget about the last one!

There is nothing to suggest that stopping Satan will defeat all demons.

Oh I wasn't :P I was just saying Smallville is the perfect example of a show that started off very good and has just descended into a total joke. I wouldn't want the same to happen here by dragging it on longer than is needed.
