Posted September 22, 200816 yr Darkchild, the producer behind Feedback, Luv and Rollercoaster, has premiered his new video blog: aR1V1AgdSP4 If you cba watching, this what he says: *Janet has cut ties with the Island Def Jam Music Group. “We didn’t get the support from the record company,” he discloses. “Janet felt like it wasn’t pushed. I felt like it wasn’t pushed correctly. She just didn’t get her just-do as an artist of that magnitude.” *Janet is in amazing shape and her tour is incredible. *“I could make an album with her, possibly me, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis. Keep it real simple. They focus on what they’re great at, I focus on what I’m great at. We come together and make a classic Janet record.” *Janet is welcome to sign with Darkchild Records if she fancies but as of now she's not decided where to shop for a label. She's focusing on the tour first.
September 22, 200816 yr i dont think its any harm that she has left as her albums sales wise have been a disaster with them
September 25, 200816 yr ya thats true just a shame she cudnt have both like a successful tour and album
September 25, 200816 yr Well - from what I hear - Janet f*cked this era up herself by battling with LA regarding the singles "Luv" and "Rock Wit U". People are interested in her old sh*t. No one cares about her anymore. Not unless she can come up with some HOT sh*t.
September 26, 200816 yr thats better that she is no longer with Def Jam.... if you're Janet, you are always accepted for another label lol.
September 27, 200816 yr She just needs to cut the next album down to twelve solid tracks, Feedback was a great track and has she followed up with something just as good or even LUV would've been a better track than RWU.
September 27, 200816 yr "Rock With U" should have been released internationally - or not at all - while "Luv" should have been released in the US. NOT the other way around.
