I know, I was trying to hold off listening to the later leaks. If it weren't for you I wouldn't have heard the studio version of "Remedy" until this week either. :heehee: But yeah, those three wouldn't be out of place on a Kylie album at all but I think they make a nice subtle come down from some of the stormers earlier on and a nice lead up to "Hands". (which I think is lovely) I love the spoken bit on "No Brakes" but I don't know if it's because I'm subconciously amused by her voice on that bit. :heehee:

 

Yeah, it's not a big similarity, just that both have a similar message in the chorus. I still don't know quite what it actually reminds me of so I like to think of it as Goldfrapp covering a Scissor Sister song. :lol:

I bought this album yesterday, loving 'Remedy', 'Symmetry', 'Heart Collide' and the non-tenorion verion of 'Meddle' out of songs I hadn't heard before! Good album.

My my my, this album is ALL KINDS of epic. Commerciality doesn't always mean disappointment no? ;o

 

not for me, it's one of the albums of the year, which is shocking considering my usual indifference to her in BJSC

 

the songs sound so much better as part of an album and most of the new tracks are excellent, the hidden track is gorgeous :wub:

Well DUH, why should I bother re-wording my opinion? Much in the same way TIP has compared 'Remedy' to Geri Halliwell/Lady GaGa in the same terminology a few times. :P

 

I wasn't very taken in by 'Earthquake' prior to buying this album, but it's so grown on me. Definitely one of the best. :wub:

 

Amazing album 10/10 only track I still can't get into is.... Meddle

 

Symmetry easily passes as a Human League single, very retro :wub:

I'm really enjoying the album! New in Town is my favorite so far, but I'm also enjoying now Meddle, Hearts Collide, Mathematics and Love Kills.

Album BOMBS down to #40 this week, down 35 places.

I don't care at all if the album is succeeding or not. I absolutely love this girl :wub:

I can't get tired of listening the album. I think is just brilliant pop.

Stuck on Repeat or Earthquake better be singles with proper videos, they represent what this album is.

Right now let's so how Remedy turns out

'Remedy' has become my least favourite track on the album.

It just sounds so false and generic RedOne now, 'Earthquake' and 'Mathematics' remain my favourites, i never really took to 'Stuck On Repeat' and i dont think its ever going to grow on me now.

I love the album too and Meddle is also the only one I can't get into, its just bad :mellow:

I'm not fond of 'Hearts Collide' and 'No Brakes' but the others are all well good ^_^ My second favourite album of the year after Lady GaGa.
