St Etienne are great and i cannot wait for the special edition of the new comp to come out...thats gonna be great...and good to see something thats essentially Hi-NRG in the indie section!!! (please dont move it to pop whatever you do!!! as you wont be able to find it again!!)

 

however now its time for "Spot the Pop" - where is that mainstream synthpop-electropop record hiding..its somewhere in all these indie-dance and alternative classics....

I've had their Smash The System singles collection for years and have always loved this, it's a classic to me. It deserves to do well. :(

It's a shame it's not doing well chartwise, the Xenomania mix is superb.

I bought the single today.

 

I suppose without radio support and the lack of physical singles in shops is no great surprise.

There's only HMV who stock them and they're limited depending on where you go.
