Posted September 23, 200816 yr I know we've only heard a few of the songs on Funhouse so far, but do you think that it will beat the success that I'm Not Dead had? Discuss ^_^
September 23, 200816 yr Author Yeah I think it will too, compared to Stupid Girls, So What has done extremly well so far, I hope it does well in UK next week when its released, we'll all have to do some promo around the net :heehee: She got a lot of new fans with I'm Not Dead too, so hopefully all these newbies will buy the album too :P
September 23, 200816 yr Its going to be alot bigger in the US I think. Probably beat sales of "I'm Not Dead" there... She always does well in the UK. Her album that was considered a flop did 300k+. Suppose we'll have to wait to hear all the other tracks but based on "So What" its gonna be fooking huge.
September 24, 200816 yr Pink an odd one, because she doesn't do *that* much promotion, and her album comes out without causeing much fuss. She doesn't get all the press like other similar artists (Christina, Britney...) yet still manage to sell bucketloads. Try This is condidered a flop but it still shifted 300k+ in the UK. I'm Not Dead sold consistant over the whole era because of the great single choices. This time the single is extreamly popular with most people anyway, plus it's doing really well around the world, add to that a bit of promo prior to the album and i think it will do better then any of her others. :w00t: Edited September 24, 200816 yr by Glyn
September 24, 200816 yr I think this album will be bigger, because So What is #1 in the US already, it'll sell way more than IND did. The single is doing really well in the rest of the world too, so I think it'll outsell IND.
September 24, 200816 yr Depends on the second and third singles...although based on what we know so far, absolutely. It'll easily pass Platinum in the US, something it took Im Not Dead over a year to scrape. I think it'll end up on 5million+ globally...
September 24, 200816 yr I could be yes. So What is just huge and if the next singles are also good enough, this era could be huge.
September 25, 200816 yr Like Jark said, it will really depend on future singles. Pink's never been an artist who sells loads of albums initially, she's usually a consistant seller (Try This excepted).
