According to ESC Today Lena will not be taking part in Melodifestivalen 2009, contrary to rumours.

 

From what she says, I doubt she will be taking part in the future either, as she says the reason Eastern European countries are doing so well is because their songs are written for the younger generation, by the younger generation, and that Sweden needs to adapt and modernise its selection.
