Posted June 7, 200619 yr Well according to this article it was because Chris's voice was deemed too rocky!. Chris Martin’s duet with Nelly Furtado was left off her new album because it was too rocky. News first appeared last month that the collaboration would be dropped, but no reasons were given at the time. Martin's record label apparently deemed that his voice sounded too rocky on 'All Good Things (Come To An End)' and axed it from the final record. Furtado commented: “Chris’s label didn’t want his voice sounding so rocky, so they said we couldn’t use the song. Now it’s on the album but with just me singing it.†Source: Digital Spy
June 7, 200619 yr No disrepect but Chris' voice is not too rocky my any means, just to boring, and the sort of stuff Nelly does is feel good upbeat sort of music and it would'nt go well IMO.

I think the collabiration could have worked well, but I don't understand the record company as Chris's voice is by no means rocky, it some pop IMO.
June 22, 200619 yr I can't imagine Chris Martin on All Good Things. I can't imagine a "Rocky" sounding voice - the song is too chilled. Unless they changed it after Chris was dropped from it.
