how and why did you come to like elvis?

i discovered elvis when i was 11 years old, used to play all my dads

old 78s, first track i got hooked on was all shook up, i could"nt believe what i was hearing , it sounded fantastic!

I was very young too, i discovered Elvis when i was watching a film with my mum. I think i own everything now. He has a great voice, good moves, looks good and has sung some brilliant songs. He is the whole package. Two of my fave Elvis songs are "Pledging My Love and Angel" :cheer: .

I always quite liked Elvis although I was into other music when I was younger. It must have been about 11 or 12 years ago, when I watched Aloha on TV one Christmas Day and I suddenly realised what I'd been missing. Believe me, I've had fun making up for lost time since then :cheer: There were so many Elvis songs I'd never heard, but my fave song is still the one I'd always loved, 'I Just Can't Help Believin' :wub: I've been so lucky in that I've visited Memphis twice, the last time was for Elvis Week 2007 and both times, I had such a wonderful time, that I would love to go back again. For me, Elvis was the complete package - looks, voice, everything. He was so special and a true star who never forgot where he came from :wub:

I was 12 years old,saw Aloha on tv,was a big thing I remember and I was hooked.My fav.period is 1968 till 1970 his voice was so raw,intense and full of passion.
