Norma, you're definitely one of our more intelligent posters, I bet you understand perfectly what me and Rich were talking about... ;) I've never seen you use "txtspk" in a post, all your posts are in grammatically correct English, so you've nothing to be scared of..

 

I really dont understand why it is that so many British people feel intimidated by their own language.... Is it down to schools not doing their jobs properly....? God knows that most kids these days don't seem to know their Perfect Tense from their Subjunctive.... When did "grammar" and proper sentence structure become dirty words....?

I think you and I are well out of it Rob! Its getting way too heavy for me to handle any more! I hope Brian thinks long and hard before posting contentious articles like this again! :lol:
