You mean Priscilla? If so, then she isn't really my cup of tea. I don't like some of the things she has done, but one good thing she gave Elvis a beautiful daughter.

I appreciate what she's done where Graceland is concerned, although I know it's not all down to her and she is, of course, the mother of Elvis' daughter, but........ I get a bit annoyed when she's sometimes referred to as Elvis' widow when they were in fact divorced and can't forget how she insisted she wanted to go back to Beaulieu after the divorce, but as soon as Elvis died, she decided she'd rather be a Presley again :rolleyes: Oh, and as for all her surgery, well, she was a beautiful woman before, so why go overboard as she's done :unsure:

I agree with that Carole especially about the surgery. I think she was more Beautiful before all the surgery. :unsure:

I think what she did for Graceland was great, but lets face it she did it for money! I understand that she wanted to secure a future for Lisa, but she had an alterive motive. HERSELF. Everyone knows she hated the fans. In away she is justified in that. But I dont think she did it for the fans! I even read that at one point she tryed to extend her righ to run the estate,a nd Lisa was angry about it. It could have been just a rumore.

 

It also bothers me she uses Presley. And all her follers talk about E not being very good to her, but he himself said U can teach someone to be a careing person. i know she was raised a military brat but shes a cold person. No he wasent the best husband but she wasent the best wife either. But who is? Eveyone can improve if they try. I think she bailed because 1 she was tired of the life style, but I think she saw he was slipping into drugs to much and just didnt care. I dont think its her fault he died and I dont blame her, because we are all in charge of our own fate. But she bailed when he needed her the most. It's said that when he would visit her at her home after the divorce she would laugh at him and mock him. Do u do that to someone u love...no u dont.

 

I thought it was strange that she turned to scienceintology the relegion he detested. I cant help but hink it may have been for that reason she turned to it. I dont know and it may have not been but she is very spiteful. I thin that Elvis and Me was a crock.

I certainly agree with you about her book. It seemed to me that she was re-writing history to suit her. And as for the scientology, I agree, I don't think Elvis would have been too happy with that, especially concerning Lisa Marie. Another thing I've often read is that Elvis didn't want Priscilla to have anything to do with his estate and that, it was only when Vernon was dying that she managed to persuade him to change things. I agree that she's happy to promote herself (ie, her range of bedlinen etc), but tbh if it wasn't for her association to Elvis, doubt she'd be anywhere near as successful.

 

One other thing made me mad, and that was at the big concert at the FedEx last year during Elvis Week. I was lucky enough to be there, but I noticed that when Priscilla introduced the family at the concert, apart from Lisa and Elvis' grandchildren, the rest consisted of her family and none of Elvis' <_<
