This wouldn't have done well as a single. The whole styling is very early 2000s RnB. It sounds out-of-date and lyrically quite trite. Do people (based on the clip), honestly think it would have done well in the UK?

Yeah I think it is, I also mentioned it to somewhere else...

Keen to prove how dynamic her voice is, Defeated opts for a more R n’ B sound which wouldn’t sound out of place on an album by Usher or Rhianna. I just bet they wish they had penned it first.
