October 7, 200816 yr I don't - largely 'cos 1987 was worse. ....and 88 worse then 87... and 89 possibly bottoming out..
October 9, 200816 yr Metallica - Master of Puppets x5sXk5tHbqA I'm going to be pedantic here and say that you shouldn't of chose this performance as it was filmed in either '88 or '89 on the justice tour. But least someone recognised this milestone in music. '86 is possibly the most important year in metal with the release of Master Of Puppets and Slayer's Reign in Blood... it would be extremely hard to find a metal band that came after these albums that weren't influenced by either one of the records. As well as these genre defining albums there was also Megadeth's Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? which is arguably their best record. Iron Maiden's Somewhere In Time, is classic Maiden. I could go on about thrash metal and such.... but i cba.
