THank you. Just E?, Bramley?

Do you know if there's any time limit?

I'll have to find and charge mine before I can text anything.

I posted word for word the Email I received from a trusted source.............. I don't know any more, BT.

Sorry I've not been posting for a while, illness in the close family has upset me, but I don't want

to talk about it.

So at last we are to see THE episode of Hotel Babylon. A long wait, let's hope it was worth the wait.

I've been in that situation more than once and I know just how you feel, Bramley. Sometimes words are empty and superfluous.

However HB turns out, it's another experience under Darius's belt and once he gets the wedding, the new house and the album and its promotion done, maybe he'll do some more challenging TV roles.

Finally got the tickets fo Take That ( Manchester) today. I bought them for my son's girlfriend for Christmas and I was beginning to panic because they hadn't arrived.I spent ages on the phone earlier in the week trying to speak to a human being as the automated line told me they had been printed on 3rd June and sent out over 10 days ago! Eventually got to speak to someone who said that message was incorrect and although they had been printed they were waiting to dispatch them all together later in the week. Anyway they arrived today so panic over. Sue

Operation went well, we think she is out of the woods now ( fingers crossed ). But a big jolt.

It must have been very worrying, Sue, when the tickets were for someone else. Glad they arrived safely.

I've always regretted never seeing Morecambe and Wise live, but I must confess I have few leanings

towards attending present-day pop concerts. (With one notable exception, of course)

Glad the operation went well Bramley

Good news.

Fingers crossed

I'm sitting typing and just looked up to see my white ceiling has turned grey with thousands of mosquitos. They must have all matured this pm. I wish they'd have found someone elses home to haunt. I really don't fancy sleeping with this lot in the room. There are just too many tp deal with.

I may sleep downstairs tonight.

Most died overnight but, although I really don't like killing things, I have bought a fly spray. The bathroom bath and floor are covered with them and so is the bigger top floor bedroom. I've never seen so many. |Everything up here is covered with them. I just hope I don't have a reoccurance tonight.

Bramley, I'm glad things look better and hope that continues. Illness makes you so aware of just how much you love people.

Thanks Meg. Hope you are bearing up.

I recall when I was a child, one hot day all the windows were open and we were invaded by masses of tiny

black corn beetles. I remember Mum hoovering them off the walls etc.

Do you have a pond in the garden........have the mosquitoes come from that?

I don't. I had young children when i moved in and filled the pond in. Many of our neighbours do though and the Thames runs past the bottom of the road.
I opened the bathroom window the other night and they swarmed in. We have a brook running through the wooded area at the back of the house so we do get some, but this year is particularly bad. Sue
There are more than we've ever had here and they seem to be everywhere. But then, we've got more butterflies and more grasshoppers. More buttercups and daisies. So, on the whole, I suppose we can put up with them. The bats are dive bombing you when you walk by the river at night and I've just seen (and photographed) my first female stag beetle of the season. Dave came running in to show me where it was. I knew husbands can be very handy.
