Although Darius could easily do it, a tour of anything would be a major commitment and might prevent him grasping better opportunities which might present themselves.

My feeling is that Darius has ticked off his music and his musicals checklists for now, and that to repeat what he has done before just doesn't appeal to him. He's taken over a role, he's done legs of a tour, he's originated a lead role in a brand new production. The third album when it comes will not be Dive In 2 nor Live Twice 2.

Nor 'Save love' or 'No More' - they'd already been discarded 18 months ago - we may never have heard them.

He's just done one episode of TV. I wish we knew what may be coming.

Noel Sullivan seemed to disappear, as did Danny, though the girls in particular are still around. Or am I just out of touch.

I think a lot of amateur shows excel in energy and drive. Could this be because an amateur show is on for only a limited time,

one or two weeks. Pro shows often go stale through lengthy repetition. Unfortunately GWTW didn't have time to go stale (though

in any case I doubt it would have done). Again, not all actors are as dedicated as Darius; many regard a part as just another job

to bring in the pennies.Hope you enjoy 'Flashdance' Preston.

With GWTW, I didn't see the same show any night until the last 2 weekls. A forum closing doesn't seem enough to stop me supporting him. I'm just so glad we have this one.

forum closing..stop me supporting D, no way! as long as I have somewhere online to keep up with him, his myspace pages etc, would be good to see more info from him on them mind you!

panic..yahoo keeps telling me darius' facebook page is missing! why is that?

We started with just a street team......

Even without that I would still be supporting him

I started on sister mother's site and we initially chatted via the guest book. I never got into street team
Devotees wouldn't let me on - just kept telling me I wasn't welcome. They did after I'd joined the other forums then. I hated the time when I didn't know what was happening. I believed in Darius' abilities but had no internet and didn't get the right papers. It was like he had disappeared. It didn't stop me routing for him though.

I could never get the hang of SM's first forum but spent a lot of time on the Devotees.

Once the forum changed I went back....but the official one was up then.

It was after that I found .net

I think that most of us feel that Rachel is more important than the forum. I know Darius does. Closing it at all was stressful for her and doing it slowly would have been impossible. I'm glad we've still got .net and hope things go well for Rachel. I really hope she posts here when she has the time and the inclination.

Devotees was my first "home" on the Darius community, I loved it there, I was gutted when it ended.

Hi im here. I also was a member of sister mothers and devotees. I remember the long voting days for D in Hello.
I just feel weird here because I don't know who most people are....it all seems very established and I feel like a newcomer....is that stupid?

Hi Morag! Welcome to BJ. You'll soon get used to us. After all, most of us were on .net but under different user names.

If you look back on the Sonnet thread most of us have revealed our .net names. You'll soon settle in here.
