Me too. We took Mum out for lunch today - nd she got out of the wheelchair to push it through the centre (flat and no bumps). It's not very long but it exhausted her. She did it though. Today is such glorius weather that we couldn't let her miss it.

Glad she's getting out in your 'glorious' weather.......up here it's been drizzle most of the day.

....I'm beginning to think you are right about the warmer weather following you around

Glad your Mum was able to enjoy the lovely weather Meg. Like with Pam, it's been dull and wet here all day. Sue
I think it was a one or two off, after tomorrow, they say spring may go into hibernation again. Still, it's lovely to have for a while. I thought the bare chested boys were taking it a bit far though.

I do hope so, megham.

We've had a couple of good days here. My thoughts were even turning to gardening, something I consider a chore rather than a pleasure.

Mum actually remembered the day and month of her date of birth. Quite a milestone and made us all very happy.
The sun is actually shining this afternoon! Glad your Mum is improving Meg. I hope Sharon (darius4me) is ok as well. She hasn't posted recently. Sue
Just remembered, I was watching a programme on TV yesterday, can't remember what, and ended up watching Jason Donovan , dressed as a woman, and cast, singing I Will Survive from the new musical Priscilla- Queen Of The Desert. What on earth was that all about? It opens at The Palace for previews on 10th March. If that suceeds when GWTW didn't then it's time to give up. Why was the man who spoke with an Australian accent walking about with tyres on his feet?? Sue
It wa a guested performance during comic relief. I didnt recognise Jason Donovan because of the makeup. It was originally a film starring Terence Stamp (far from the maddening crowd) and Mike from Neigbours who has made it in Hollywood. Cant remember his surname but a very good actor.I would think the tv performance will sell them a lot more tickets.
I deliberately gave the movie a miss and I'm no more attracted by the stage show. Definitely one only Darius could entice me to go to.

I'm glad your Mum is making progress, Meg and that you are back home. It's been a very traumatic time for you.

I have just been reading through all the GWTW reviews again and seeing how well D did and the great comments still cant understand why nothing is on the horizon especially when Lee mead and connie fisher have new albums out shortly. Someone on Dress circle is trying to get hold of cast recordings for various shows and GWTW is one of them but needless to say his request for our GWTW got the usual comments.

We should be in Huddersfield but my son was given a project to hand in on Friday so he cancelled it.

I've just woken him for the second time.......we could have gone because I'm sure it was only a couple of hours.

At least he has already been but it would have been good for him to speak to the tutors.

Isn't work going to be a shock to him? Our youngest has broken his arm. He got no sympathy at all. It just goes to show that when you are told not to do something, there is usually a very good reason. He loves the plaster cast.

How is Stephen's back trouble, Pam. Has it cleared up?

Your boy will revel in having all his mates sign the cast, Meg.
