I can believe that. You probably spark off each other.

I retain energy and zest for life for absolutely ages but if I get drained for any reason, it takes a long time for me to re-charge.

Recently all the things I've tried to do for the best have turned up more problems than they've solved. It hit me again hard just how much I miss my sister and I reacted as I usually do. I withdrew and became totally introspective until I could get it all back into perspective.

I'm going out for lunch today and I'm raring to go.

That's good, BT. Your sister stays with you, always will. It's hard to be without someone who has always been close. Try and remember the good. As for good intentions going wrong - that's me to a 'T'

Why on earth do we say that?

....well from them :naughty:

Get a gig up and my get up and go will be in full swing.

........and so will min be too Meg!

I left my Mum her tablets for last night and before food this morning. She decided the night ones should be the after food and left them. I really don't know what to do now. I can't give her the after food ones as they shouldn't be given at the same time as her night ones - and what do I do tonight? It'll only be 12 hrs since the last night ones she took this morning.

She sounded so sure of what she was supposed to do.

You could speak to a doctor or pharmacist, ask their advice.

She sounded so sure of what she was supposed to do.

She probably was when you spoke to her.

It's the problem with her short term memory.

You will need to leave a note stating exactly when to take them if you leave her again.

So has she now taken her night time medicines?

Repeating them tonight really depends on what they are for.....did you asked the pharmacist?

No I just made sure I didn't duplicate anything in the lunch time medicines. I got advice from a nurse I know. Very useful person to have around.
Glad you could get some advice Meg. It's so hard, you think you've got it all sorted and then suddenly it all goes wrong. Dad's short term memory was so bad eventually, that he forgot to take his tablet even if it was on the table at the side of him. It's so distressing. Sue

It's one of the reasons we just can't let her go home at the moment.

Anyway, on a brighter note. One year on and now 14 - what a difference a year makes.
