We'll just look for a hymm book next to a man singing with gusto.

I remember seeing a bit about that clock on the news a while ago. It didn't look like something you could just glance at and know.

Off to the lunch club. Be back in a couple of hours.

I don't think I'll need the car. As soon as I step outside, I step outside the gale force winds will carry me up the hill.

I've to make a birth congratulation card for my friend to send.

I want to put my best effort in and make it special and I'm trying to get in the mood with little success so far. Maybe I should shut the curtains, switch on the lights and stick Darius in the CD player. A good dose of Darius will get me all bright eyed and bushy tailed again.

It sounds a lovely thing to do, BT. There's something special about a new baby. Hopes for the future and the continuing of life.
Hand made cards are so much more special and far more personal.

Stephen phoned home about 30mins ago to say he'd seen his first snow of the season....on Shap lasting about 10minutes :o
I only like snow when I don't have to drive in it and it hasn't turned to slush or ice. I just have memories of my brother forcing it down my wellies and my legs being rubbed raw. I'd rather have no snow at all.

You really loved your brother, didn't you. Doh...

Snow is the last thing I want (though it could be drier than the rain pelting down right now)

I'm still waiting for the glorious summer that was originally forecast last spring! We are drawing up plans to build

our very own ark.......animals not provided for. All those beautiful pictures and models we see of Noah's Ark.....

what about poor Mrs Noah cleaning up after that lot! And where did they store all the food? Must have been the size

of QE2.

It has been a truly glorius Autumn day. Absolutely beautiful, if a bit windy. We have ben very lucky. We had a couple of hours of rain yesterday but that's all. The dog is shattered as I kept walking instead of bringing him home.

Iwas just reading about the new James Bond film, and one name rang a bell. I could be wrong, but see if anyone

else picks up on it.

Do you mean like this......

Daniel is a formidable presence when he walks into a room,” he adds. “I’ve not seen a man with bluer eyes. It’s completely unnerving.”

:D

I only like snow, if I'm in the warm watching out the window. I couldn't live in Canada. Snow in October brrrrr.
I think I'd feel as though I was in the wrong house if ours ever got organised - either that or I'd got a divirce and had forgotten about it. I still say that two semis would be a good idea.
Isn't Simon Kassianides (in Quantum of Solace) D's mate from university ?

Our news is squeezed into a long thin strip about 3/4" wide X 5" height and the advert isn't nearly deep enough to fill the rest of the 5" headline strap.
