We should be getting more settled weather now, so they should get a clear run.

Another beautiful day. Lovely sitting under the trees.

 

Ah, but your part of the country is due for rain now, according to the weatherman.

You'll be pleased to know that we've has a very light, very fine drizzle all day long. Not enough for an umbrella or hood but enough to make sitting out a huge no no.

Just when I had a day off and could have enjoyed a bit of sunshine in someone's garden :(

Sunshine next time, maybe? It knew that you were coming. It is the second rain in 10 days. The pavements are now dry but the sky is still cloudy.

Could do with a good downpour here to save me from watering in some plants I've moved.

 

Bought more M&S Sicilian Blood Oranges marmalade today..........delicious, but why is it still the normal marmalade

colour. I would have expected it to be of a more reddish tint.

I don't like marmalade - all that peel. I don't think any amount of blood would make it better or worse.

Sicily isn't a big island........it must be choked up with blood orange trees to supply all the M&S branches.

Well, abviously that's the problem. If the island was bigger ther'd be more blood for them. Vampire oranges.

Sleep with your gun underneath the pillow ( or a juice squeezer to squish the oranges)

The juice squeezer sounds about right.

Our local bbc weather report still says heavy showere - we've had a lovely, hot day. But then, Nina isn't here today.

It's the weekend and no sunshine

We had a wonderful display of lightning and great claps of thunder seemingly directly overhead yesterday.

In comparison today seems very peaceful.
