I press screen print then open 'paint' and paste then save as a jpeg then put onto photobucket and copy the img code into my post.....very straight forward :unsure:

Bramley what is your screen resolution set on?

 

That could make a huge difference.

I do mine through photoshop - I bet yours is easier, Spam.

My screen resolution appears to be set quite low on the swingometer .......1024 by 768 pixels

Mine's not that much differentg 1152 by 864

Going to your settings did the same to my bar at the top, I got wrap round. I've put it back and it's back to a complete line.

I've set mine to 1152x864 and the top is now the same as yours. But the printing is very much smaller.

Perhaps you can try resetting yours, BT, it may solve the problem you are having.

Well, I now know what was causing it ( thanks) but have decided to return to my original setting as it is

so much easier to read.

Ofcourse I could just get new reading specs! Come to think, they sent a reminder for a retest a few months

ago. Like other things it was pushed to one side and forgotten.

It's a pain to have to put glasses on to read.

Playing with the screen resolution didn't work for me. The slider control doesn't seem to work and I'm stuck with the lowest or highest. One was too big to fit the screen. I couldn't get scroll bars at all nor the cross to close. I couldn't do anything with the page.

 

The other one is the one I've got. How would I stop wrap around. That may be the problem because when I copy the news, it looks like this

I get the 3rd album bit but other than that and the little triangles, it's as accurate as I can get. I presume 20 is part of 2008 and that ne- is part of next? something - Februa

 

 

 

It is. Do you go into settings on the control screen to alter the pixels?

Yes - I go into the control panel then display then settings, and that brings up the current settings and the slider option, which doesn't seem to move in incremental steps, as I would expect from such an option.

 

It looks like I'm stuck with the horrible white space which is really putting me off.

You'll get so used to it, you'll be able to ignore it.

My computer has jumped back to Meg's setting ( I didn't touch it) so it can stay at that. And the printing appears to have increased

in size ( it was tiny when I first tried that setting!). I shall never understand computers....at times they seem so totally illogical.

BT, can't the helpful neighbour's son do anything?

Talk about teaching your grandmother to suck eggs, my grandchildren can run rings round me computer-wise. One of them

consoled me by reminding me that today's children grow up using computers. I forbore to mention the blue-tooth, ipods ad all

the other modern gadgets which leave me at a loss!!!

Myh father-in-law never really got the hang of telephones and when we swopped to cordless, it lost him completeluy.

I love technology and gadgets. No ipod (though tempted) but mp3 player, pda, mobile internet. Now I just need a pda that I can link with my phone.
