January 13, 200916 yr Why do you think she will risk missing the Top 20 or 30? Due to the reason i already stated....the album has simply sold too much...its on about 2.7 million in the UK at the moment which is a PHENOMENAL number. Too many people already own I Will Be for it to make much of an impression in the charts sadly!! Although id love to be proved wrong of course!
January 13, 200916 yr i dont think it matters for leona too much where she charts now single wise... it will be a final push for the 3 million mark album wise i believe 'i will be' is good enough to do that! (though so sad 'take a bow' never made a single, clearly it should have been 2nd single)
January 13, 200916 yr haha i agree! As a huge Leona fan i am quite bitter that Take A Bow wasnt released and instead we got the vastly inferior Better In Time (yawn!) and Forgive Me (akon = $h!t) Ah well....at least the album was huge :)

BIT was a big hit worldwide and hung around for ages in many charts. I don't think it's inferior at all, I actually prefer it to Take A Bow.

Yea BIT did ok worldwide in the end....but i genuinely believe Take a Bow would have been more successful...especially in the US!!! I don't dislike it OR Forgive me (i bought both single versions of these tracks on itunes when they were released in fact!) I just dont like them as much as i do TAB...i guess that is what im trying to say :)
January 13, 200916 yr They might release IWB over here just... because. I'd much rather TAB, to be honest. I know I sound like a broken record (as everyone demands a release of TAB) but I honestly think it would be the best move for the label. They should just throw it out there to see how much buzz they can create (if there's any left!). Whenever I play Spirit in my car, my friends always want me to blast TAB because the beats are just wild. Her vocals on top of that make the song an instant hit to a lot of people. If they were to throw IWB out for release, another ballad isn't going to push the album any further. If any song left on the album would push it further, it is Take A Bow. I don't think it'd storm in at #1 or anything like that because her album has sold buckets, but it might add even more of a buzz to her album (if that's even possible). ;)
January 13, 200916 yr As far as singles go i just wish they hadnt bothered with Forgive Me in the UK, it will no doubt be huge in the US but it underperformed in the UK. Other than that id say the right single choices were made.
January 13, 200916 yr I'm really shocked more people here don't think TAB should've been released. It would've reached a new demo. Forgive Me kind of did that, but the mess-up of the release ruined the momentum. I believe TAB would've been more appealing than FM here in the UK. I think it's pretty odd to ignore the modern sound TAB has. Such slick production, it definitely has the "cool" factor, unlike a lot of the slow ballads on the album. January 13, 200916 yr yeah i totally agree with take a bow, although perhaps they never released it as a 2nd single due to its similarities to bleeding love; in the sense of beat and vocal power. still an amazing track.

I love TAB and think it should be a single at some point but it's looking doubtful. I just prefer BIT and FM and don't think they were bad single choices which is what I was disagreeing with.
January 14, 200916 yr I do BIT but TAB should have been the 2nd single... for me (if run hadnt existed) - BL - TAB - BIT - I WILL BE they where the big singles in that order! (maybe i will be 3rd single) in the US i would have gone for I will be ahead of BIT- Its so US radio friendly! but i cant fault BIT it did well, i just think TAB and IWB would have done even better!
January 15, 200916 yr BIT always should've been released. It's got a great melody and catchy as hell. That's why it's had such longevity and reach #3 on US radio. I just think TAB was blatently a missed opportunity to attract a new demo. The more I follow the reports of IWB's spins, the more I think it shouldn't have been released. I just have a bad feeling. With so many female ballads being released, I think the intial "take off" will die down. I hope not, because it's a nice song. Forgive Me or TAB should've been the next US release.
