October 15, 200816 yr Author ***MIDWEEK UPDATE*** Girls Aloud scored their first No.1 in three years at the weekend with The Promise and will be looking to make it a second week at the top on Saturday. Should they do so, it will be their first ever two week chart topper, the other four all had just a week. There are a lot of songs trying to take the top spot though and it won't be easy for GA to hold on...fellow girl group The Saturdays soared 10-3 at the weekend and will look to climb a further two places to the top this week.
