I dont know why but Alan reminds me of a sex mad Harold Bishop for some reason. I think it's his bumblingness.

i watched it for the first time last night - and i was surprising ly impressed. it was pretty funny

Watched it again last night! God, I love this programme!

I loved the "Get out of the car" and Joanna's already out then the thing Sue did with the dead box cracked me up. When she said that her clothes were from dead people.

 

It was like. "*points to jacket* MRSA victim, *points to trousers* heart victim, *points to boots* Stroke victim!!!!"

I've found Guy hilarious lately.

 

Guy: (at the pic of Jesus) Who's that ponce in the beard? Is THAT Noel Edmonds.

 

Caroline: Kissing in the toilets...we were err just saying who sang Kissing In The Toilets in 1979.

Caroline: Yes!

Guy: Wow, that was just a guess. Kissing in the toilets...don't flush. It's lush.

 

Last night's was one of the best episodes for me, I just thought it was constantly funny and it had so many good bits. Especially Sue trying to kill Caroline and the scene with her and Mac.

 

Sue: House number?

 

Mac: It's 16.

 

Sue: (Typing) My God, I want you so much...I wanna feel you in my mouth.

It's really a bit of a cult hit, isn't it. Quite cool considering they called it a ratings flop when it was first on and weren't gonna make a second series.

 

But I have never seen so much promotion for a TV programme ever. All those adverts. All the posters on the tube. And all that jazz!

I dunno, I remember the web chat with Joanna about half way through the first series and she said then they'd been comissioned for a 2nd series already...but even as the series went on it still only had about 1 million viewers a week.

 

I'm happy they decided it was worth making a 2nd series though.

 

I haven't read the episode guides but you can on the channel 4 website, only 8 episodes by the looks of it.

Not bad considering they're selling it for £20 in the store!

I was gonna get it from Woolworths but I reckon I'd save about 50p or something...anyways 10 minutes!!! I can't wait.

Sue. Every scene she was in. As brilliant as ever!

But Sue giving Mac a hand job! :o That even grossed me out a bit!

The hand job thing I thought was a bit rather sick in a way...I know it's a comedy but meh...it was more sort of eugh than lauaghable tho I was in hysterics at the fake arm! :D :D

 

Sue stole every scene really...she was just hilarious throughout.

 

I loved when Alan hit that woman because he thought she was a wolf.

 

The only thing I didn't really get was that they didn't really follow up Guy and Joanna sleeping together (much) or I was hoping they would have started the episode on the cliff or something...but either way it was really funny and great to have it back! :lol:
