I'm uploading this on the official Myspace page now (www.myspace.com/officialjamelia). It's from the 'Walk With Me' era and was produced by Colin Emmanuel. It was turned down before him & J could finish it.

It's a good track, but considering it's very 'urban', it would have sounded out of place on the album.

It's now up on the official page.

Lyrics:

Jamelia - "Na-Ah"

Recorded for the album 'Walk With Me', 2006

How dare you come in here lookin' like that

You know my will power's weak

You got me tempted to touch

Oh stop it, I can't breathe

Feel like I'm taken over by something so [magical]

This has gone way too far

I really gotta get myself away from you

Chorus:

Woah-oh-ah, woah-oh-ah

Why are you still tryna get me?

Woah-oh-ah

Do you gotta be so sexy?

Woah-oh-ah, woah-oh-ah

Someone tell me what should I do

Woah-oh-ah

Bridge:

I wanna run away, but it ain't gon' happen in these shoes

Na-ah

Don't wanna trip again and get the blues

Na-ah

Everything you saying is old news

Na-ah

Don't eradicate my dues

Getting back with you, I can't do

We've been broken up now for three weeks

Two days and fourteen hours

How the hell am I supposed to get over you

When you keep coming around

I wish you'd shut up and quit telling me that I'm beautiful

It's gotten out of hand

I really gotta get myself away from you

Chorus

Na-ah (repeat until fade)

Oooh I'll give it a listen when I get home ^_^

A little more info on the track:

Jamelia and I wrote the song. She wanted to write a song about shoes, along the lines of try and walk in my shoes. But as usual what we do is take an idea and twist it. So joking around I was saying how most women moan how their shoes hurt. So she starts writing the song about a guy checking her out and we come with the idea that it would be funny if her shoes hurt so much she couldn’t get away. Simple as that, have a laugh and the concepts flow.

I’d love to work with her again. There’s is a very special link when we work.

I got some new tracks she did with Syience to put up, too.
