Loved Geraldine :D . I hope 'she' does well. :) The show was hilarious but fizzled a bit towards the end... Nevertheless, good fun and fantastic cameo appearances there.

And Cat swearing at the public was such a LOL moment.

It would be fun to reach top spot but I don't think it will happen. If it does, Simon Cowell will have a hissy fit. :)

Just seen the video on 4music, hilarious  and it's already in the their top 10 chart at #6.

I've just bought it from HMV in Wigan (I got the DVD too). I've played the Two Up Two Down version twice in the car coming back. Great tune to drive to! I love it - especially the rap bit near the end.

This song is so funny I can't stop watching the video! I may go and buy it especially if it has a chance of keeping Leon off!
Only three places below Leon in the mids! 10 on iTunes and the gap between Geraldine and Sugababes at 6 isn't that big at all!
Would so love it to get to #1

but do feel a bit sorry for Leon .

I don't! Well to be honest ... I do actually - its more a smack in the teeth I'd like Simon Cowell to get and Leon is just the fall guy!

Ditto. But then again Leon allowed his own personal sob story & played his "nationality card" to enable him to beat the much more talented Rhydian last year.

I've never bought a Simon Cowell orientated record ever (I refused to buy Bleeding Love on sheer principle), but I've bought the CD single & DVD version today of Geraldine's single.

But, I'm starting to wonder if Peter Kay was too clever with his show, as I know discussing this single at work this lunchtime two of my colleagues heard about the single (and one of them heard about it via Chris Moyles' Radio 1 show) but both thought it is part of the mickey take and not real, where both thought the single was not physically available to buy this week.

That's what I said the very day it was released ... it can be the only explanation for the slow start. When I got my DVD & CD yesterday in HMV - a couple behind me said 'ooh look it IS for real'.

I hope you've seen my transcript from this week's Heat Magazine - in the chart prediction thread ... its so funny. They've got a four page spread article with Geraldine and I've typed little bits up as I know people on Buzzjack just aren't the kind to buy Heat Magazine. I've posted the bit she says about Macca in the Beatles forum.
