October 13, 200816 yr ok, we can ask her if she wants to hire all of us, to take care of releasing, promoting and performances... we'd do a better job than universal also because we would take care only of her...
October 13, 200816 yr yup...we only have Ana's best interests at heart...they don't give a $h!t about their artists...they only care about themselves maybe we should set up a petition to MAKE IT HAPPEN!! Edited October 13, 200816 yr by ~Jax~

October 21, 200816 yr WITH no new material in almost five years, many fans were beginning to fear ANASTACIA had hung up her microphone for good. Up until 2004 the award-winning singer had fallen into a cycle of releasing new music every couple of years. But in an exclusive interview, Anastacia reveals she’s back and happier than ever after a break which saw her tie the knot with her bodyguard WAYNE NEWTON. She told The Sun: “I’m sorry to all my fans who were wondering what was happening. I just wanted a little time out to enjoy married life and to reflect on life.” Anastacia added: “Heavy Rotation has a very different vibe. It’s the first happy album I’ve ever made. I honestly never knew I could write so many upbeat songs. I guess it shows shows my outlook on life right now.” Read on for more from Anastacia, including the reason behind her decision never to have children, her recovery from breast cancer and what she thinks of Madonna and Guy Ritchie's acrimonious divorce. She'll also reveals she's a complete TV slob and has plans for a big global tour next summer. Are you shocked by the news of Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s divorce? Valeria Yes, my heart goes out to them. God bless them both. Madonna was a trooper going back on stage. Sometimes it’s best just to get on with these things. I lost my father on the tour and didn’t tell anyone. I also broke up with my ex-boyfriend on tour. There are definite hard times but you just have to pull through. The reality will be if any of the songs connect with her relationship with Guy. If something relates to something they did together or one special memory she might remember that on stage and get upset. Sometimes I was bawling my eyes out on stage. I was making them cry and then the whole place was very teary. You're in front of the people who love you. But you just have to remember there is another song coming. Congratulations on getting married. Is it different being a wife to being a girlfriend? Milly, Greece Yes, there is a totally different vibe. I have wonderful security and hope we'll grow old together. I'll be sitting there with my crows feet and about two feet shorter. I really love being married. I'm not claiming I'm going to make it forever. I'm just saying that I'm going to try. We both have no idea what the situation is going to be like in ten years. Do you plan on having any children? Filda Wayne and I have chosen not to have children. My husband has two boys already that I've grown very close to. It's an aspect of my life that I've chosen not to explore. He's still my bodyguard - we really feel ok that our commitment to each other is just based on us and his two kids. In the song from your self-titled album, Sick And tired, you talk about a friendship which went wrong. I've always wanted to know what really happened there? Javier Brand, Argentina I'm always cautious with my songs but with this song there was a friendship that went wrong. I thought it was a friendship but then I found out it was based on selfishness. In the end when you get to a hard time in your life and they are not there you know its not right. Harsh reality for all of us. Friendships come and go. Sometimes you have to let the friendship go. Let go without negativity and aminosity. Who were your idols when you were growing up? Amanda Skippen, Great Yarmouth I never really had any. I was a weird child. None of my siblings did anything like that either so I think we were bought up in that way by mum. My mum bought all my clothes and I didn't care what a wore. After high school I had my little moment of liking fashion. It was never really a big deal for me. My glasses had frames like Buddy Holly's. I wore everything. My glasses surpassed the level of being able to have a prescription in them so I had to have my eyes lasered. I actually enjoy it now. I'm fascinated by the difference I feel. People always thought the glasses were a mask but I never really correlated that until I got my eyes fixed. I don't even like wearing sunglasses when I'm talking to anyone. What have you done with all of your glasses? Rafael Graca I still have a couple of pairs in a drawer at home but I did eBay a lot for my cancer fund last year. I wanted to raise money to thank everyone for their support. I'll be auctioning off some more things soon. Has your battle with breast cancer changed your outlook on life? Bethany In a way yes. But I reckon the rapid change of pace in the record industry has changed me and my outlook more than the cancer ever did. Cancer made me help other people and that's what I want to do. I'm very grateful they found it when they did. I – and many other older artists – have had to change the way we work in recent years. I’ve learnt new things and even have my own MySpace page now. What was it like working with Ne-Yo? Theo, Beds A breeze! He's so talented. He just gets you in the studio, does his thing and then we’re good to go. It was a pretty easy day at the office. What is your favourite song on the album? Mary Heavy Rotation – it’s a crazy and infectious dance song. I'm very pleased with it. I’m not an avid compulsive listener of my own music unless I’m on stage. I don't like it. But this tune perks me up all the time. It will be released as a single at some point. What’s on your iPod right now? Oliver Good question. I'm just not a fan of music. It's weird being a performer and saying that but I just don't. It’s actually at home by my bed and I use it as an alarm clock. I have no idea what the last album I downloaded as I know there is hardly anything on it. I don't live, sleep and breathe my own music. I don't understand how people can have music as their life. I like to keep mine as my work. Do you get the same buzz as being on stage then when you first started out? Seb Yes I do. I just make sure I don’t over perform. I limit my performances so that I don’t end up getting bored. Hey Anastacia, I can’t wait till the release of your new album. Are you excited and can you tell me about the new sound? Cecilia, Italy Ha ha. Do you mean happy? I think it has a totally different vibe to me and hope the fans will like it. I honestly didn’t know I could write so many happy songs. It’s been a good couple of years and I think it shows. I’m over the cancer scare and I got married. People should lap up the fun music while they can as I don’t know how long it will last. I must warn you that there is one defeated song on there. I couldn’t give up the depressing stuff all together. To say I'm looking forward to it is an underestimation. It's a very exciting time for me. It’s been four years since I released any new material so I’m very intrigued to find out what people will think about it. Do you have plans for a future European tour? Sebastien, France There will be a tour but I’ve still not decided when. It’s looking like it will be mid-to-end of 2009. I know I’m a little different to other artists but I don’t like bringing out an album and then immediately going on tour. I want people to listen to my music and be very familiar with it before the gigs. I also need to understand the album before I can go out and create a tour for. All I can confirm is that it will be a global tour. I'll come to Asia and Australia first, then I'll do a big stint in Europe and then America. It makes sense to do America last as it's the final place I'm releasing the album. Why do you think your success in Europe has not been not repeated in the States? Freya That’s a funny question. I just have no idea! For some reason Mercury didn't love the album and it didn't do so well over there. I don’t really mind though as I’ve done well in lots of other continents. Hi Anastacia. How long did it take you to make the new album? Anya I reckon it’s probably one of the fastest made records ever. I don’t know why but things are never easy for me. I either have to have cancer while making an album or I just have two days to make it. I signed a new record deal in April and the album is now done – 13 songs but only just. The whole thing was written, recorded and produced in super quick time. I did a metamorphosis change. If it was up to me I would loved to have started writing last year. What do you enjoying doing to relax? Victoria, Newcastle I’m a huge TV junkie. Reality shows, drama’s. You name it I like it. I love the trauma in ER but I love cheesy corny stuff too. A lot of people have asked if I'd do some acting on TV but I'm worried I could just be a horrifying actress and ruin my chances of ever being respected. What are the best and worst things about coming to London? Marlene I love London. It’s like my second home and we’ve got a house here too which is very convenient. My husband’s kids and family live here so I get to really touch base with his side of the family every time I’m here which is great. I love the food, people, humour. It's a country that makes sense to me and I love the fact it’s so close to Europe. Now the downside. I can’t drive here. I hate it! I’m fine at home but over here it’s a whole different ball game. I might as well sign my whole pay check over the someone as I will hit them. I'm terrifying. Is there any song that you wish you had written? Josephine Don't Cha - Pussycat Dolls and Gnarl's Barkley's Crazy are both excellent. SOURCE
