I bet it will go on like this until we'll purely forget about the Charts Plus existance :P

As a subscriber, I was waiting for a quick resolution just like it was the case of the Airplay chart, last spring -_-

Now, I pretty might not understand exactly what's the priority in all this waiting... the 101-200 peaks of the UK "singles" and albums chart??? :blink:

I personally managed to say this from the beginning that i dunnot give a flying duck about them ;)

Meanwhile, these 7 past weeks the old or new Charts Plus team received the Airplay 100 :angry: The reason why I personally am a subscriber of this newsletter :) But noooo... No Airplay arrived in my mailbox since 7 weeks ago because the UK top 200 is not available :wacko:

When the airplay was not available the C+ sent the UK chart...

Now, until the new or old team manage to get things together with the blah blah top 200, can we receive the Airplay 100 at least? :w00t:

It's my priority, and I really want to receive that chart... I know that the chart is available, so I want that one, beyond the rest of the Chart Company stuff that is not available :teresa:

The problem is that few people subscribe ONLY for the Airplay. Most subscribe for the Singles/Albums etc. And, as has been said by others, we offer a complete service.

 

My understanding is that each subscriber will be given a few options when the magazine returns. These might be that they can either have the missing issues (as and when we make them, cos we have not made three in the middle yet!) or have issues bolted on to the end of their subscription. So instead of your sub ending in Week 1 in jan 09, it ends Week 7 in jan 09, etc.

 

Though that is only one suggestion and may NOT happen!

 

What we will do is look at this and I shall ask if something like this is possible. It may not be though! But we shall see.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd appreciate an answer soon, one way or another - I'd have a significant refund due, which would be handy for Xmas expenses...

For sure Danny waits for 99 quid that he paid, so I guess it's a nice thought to share into this thread...

Vidcapper for sure is a well known chart addictive poster from other forums that might receive dunnot know what ammount back, but wants the charts in the mailbox :P

I hate also not having the material, but let's have a bit of patience, just for the sake of Lonnie that took over together with the new Charts Plus team... ;) Each week that passes it's hard to organise so let's have a bit of patience :w00t:

I think their will be an email shortly. Hence a short 'yes' from me. We all want it back and are working to that end. But, as I said, an email should be around shortly.

I really wish you would stop speaking down to people regarding this situation. We also want ChartPlus to, its not just you. All we were asking for was a bit of information back, thats it. We understand the situation just as much as you do. ok.

at the end of the day, you are consumers who are not receiving a service you paid for, therefore you are entitled to a refund, not constantly being given vague assurances and being told to be patient and made to feel irksome for asking for updates, this has been dragging on weeks, you should at least be given the option of a refund now.

That said, it is a shame, i really liked the idea of chartsplus and will subscribe when i can afford it (assuming it returns in something like its previous form)

Yep, received the update... I guess you should reply to that e-mail and get the refund <_< More on this, for sure Lonnie can clear out on forums, even if in the case everyone asks for refunds no more charts Plus <_<

I personally dunnot ask for refunds and if Charts Plus will no longer appear I cnosder this a mistake of OCC not of the new/old team :P But that's my personal thaought, and I prefer to wait...

Really happy that persons can get their money back without asking this anymore inside this thread :cheer: xox.

I really wish you woulnt go on and on about how much you love ChartPlus. WE GET IT lol. Ilove the service they provide too. Noone is blaming the old/new team either. Id love to wait but sadly its Christmas and I need all the money i can get. Ill prob join again once its sorted.

Another 3 weeks have passed and although ChartsPlus has been discussed at the OCC, the current financial climate's impact on the entertainment industry have had to take precedence for their staff. As mentioned in the last update, the number of missing issues will be "added" to existing subscriptions or supplied as they are available assuming permission is granted, so nobody will lose out in the long run. Although one party appeared to be happy for us to continue, this will only be finalised with the OCC's approval, so whilst the team is working behind the scenes, it is not possible to publish partial issues and if we continue irrespective without permission, very simply, no further charts will be supplied to ChartsPlus from early January 2009, so we have to remain patient and hope for a successful outcome. I will ask Herman to process a refund for anyone who feels they cannot wait any longer, but I hope you will stay with us because ultimately if we can continue you will receive your charts and if we cannot, you will receive a refund calculated from issue 372. I think that's quite fair enough. It's not a great surprise that the OCC is a sticking point, especially with the music industry having bigger fish to fry right now. I'm pretty sure I'll be subscribing when everything's back on again.

Those wishing a refund should reply to the email that was sent asking for a refund.

 

If that does not work - and give it a few days! - then PM me and I will inquire further.

very simply, no further charts will be supplied to ChartsPlus from early January 2009, so we have to remain patient and hope for a successful outcome.

 

This is the nightmare for the year to come :cry: I personally dunnot even care about the charts starting January 1st :P It's goona be such a mess if the official singles will not even count :wacko:

All I could ever count on, is the Airplay chart where the stations decide on a song, not the fanbase that will buy the specific mp3 that count for them :P This is my wishful thinking for 2009 :lol:
