October 17, 200816 yr If only all radio stations' playlists were like this. It's a nice playlist, what does Omissions mean though?
October 18, 200816 yr Author It's a nice playlist, what does Omissions mean though? The songs that have been removed from the playlist that week. Basically the playlist comprises of all the songs they play across the station but when a song is removed it only means it won't be played as new music on the "up-front" shows; they'll hang around being played on the daytime shows for a while longer. Fresh Radio's most played songs of the week, if anyone's interested: 1. VV Brown - Crying Blood 2. Britney Spears - Womanizer = Girls Aloud - The Promise = The Killers - Human = Snow Patrol - Take Back The City = Red Light Company - Scheme Eugene = Kaiser Chiefs - Never Miss A Beat = Gabriella Cilmi - Sanctuary = Duffy - Stepping Stone = Sash! - Raindrops (Encore Une Fois) 11. Adele - Make You Feel My Love Edited October 18, 200816 yr by Señor Hugo
October 18, 200816 yr Thought it meant that. I'm a bit shocked they've removed Pink already, and I haven't heard the VV Brown song but I don't think there's a Fresh station in my area. Is the point of it that it plays all new and pre-release music?
October 19, 200816 yr Author Thought it meant that. I'm a bit shocked they've removed Pink already, and I haven't heard the VV Brown song but I don't think there's a Fresh station in my area. Is the point of it that it plays all new and pre-release music? Well basically the point of the playlist for Fresh (and indeed Radio 1) is as an indicator of all the new music that they will play. For Fresh Radio when a song is removed it just means that it won't be played on the "up-front/new music based" shows. The songs like Pink and Kings of Leon (already removed) will still remain on the daytime playlist for a while yet. They have to keep adding and removing songs on a similar scale on a regular basis otherwise you'd have about 100 songs on there!
