This 4-disc special edition arrives in time for the gifting season. It contains the current album E=MC² as well as the live DVD The Adventures of Mimi repackaged in a new sparkly box with some additional special extras. The box set will be available for release on December 1st.

Is this the "re-release" we heard about ages ago? I really hope it's not, personally I won't be buying it. If they tag on some new tracks to the album then yeah I will buy it. However, buying a combined version of two items I already have is just a bit pointless. I mean IDJ (or Mariah...) have screwed up this project good and proper and I Stay In Love is only going to crucify the album further, not even Migrate can save it now. Let it go Mariah, go away and be happy with your new husband, THEN come back with something new.

 

I'm not making excuses but I honestly think it's the whole getting married thing that has ruined this project. If you notice, the album was going great until the whole Nick thing emerged. Then the Bye Bye video swimming with Nick bits, then IBLULT which was sorely underpromoted because of her not being bothered about it I imagine and now the I Stay In Love project (which again wreaks of Nick - he's directing the video) which again will be really underpromoted and flop undoubtedly. She needs to cut her (and IDJ's) losses and leave it now unfortunately. -_-

I will probs end up getting it. I didnt buy the album anyway and i love E=MC2 so i might buy ^_^

I have both the DVD and CD, too. I really hate when they do this. The package looks really nice, but I don't want to shell out for something I have again!

It's an interesting release because the tour was part of the Mimi era :huh: I really want that MC logo key ring but I'm not going to buy the whole box just for that :mellow:

i'll buy it if they release it here in germany and if it costs less than 20€.. (in like 6 months after the release)
