well.... for saying it was the centre of popculture, this top ten is rather full of 'mums' music! however there are plenty of 'cool' tracks and good pop in this chart

3 Manfred Mann - If You Gotta Go Go Now ...... a bloody good cover which imho is better.

4 Barry Mcguire - Eve Of Destruction ........ in the age of vietnam, a protest song.
