nah...just look at his recent work AND his new album...c**p...he USED to make good songs...but not anymore

Let's start with that new sound then, to talk about music for a bit. Wasn't, when she wanted everything to be 'new, new, new', 'Heavy Rotation' supposed to be the first single?

'I get when you mean and you have a point. 'Heavy Rotation' is almost like a remix in its self.'

 

It reminded us of Born Slippy by Underworld.

'Funny you say that. Ne-You wrote the song with 'I'm Outta Love' in mind. 'I Can Feel You' has roughly the same structure. The first notes even turned out to be the same, so I had to turn that around. The idea behind it is that you shouldn’t slap your fans in the face with a new sound. Let them buy the CD, and they'll run into it eventually.'

All songs in album are great. Maybe little Absoultely Positively and Never Gonna Love Again, isnt that great like the rest songs on album.

It would of been great if she had picked up were she left of with POAD. This type of sound;

 

 

works for her voice perfectly. It would of been great to hear some more toned down/acoustic like guitar songs. There's only one on the album, 'You'll Be Fine' and it's one of the best tracks on HR. But I don't think that'll happen, look at this (interview from last year):

That’s a funny question. I just have no idea! For some reason Mercury didn't love the album and it didn't do so well over there. I don’t really mind though as I’ve done well in lots of other continents.

 

 

It shows that Mercury (her new company) don't like the 'sprock' sound. So if she ever does record a new album, then I bet it'd be in the same vein as Heavy Rotation (or it might be to why she wants to next record a covers album, so she doesn't have to do a repeat of HR?).

Although, next time round she should work with Max Martin [Kelly Clarkson, Behind These Hazel Eyes, Since You've Been Gone. P!nk; Cuz I Can, So What, U + Ur Hand] and Dr. Luke [Worked with Max Martin productions mentioned, Katy Perry I Kissed A Girl, Hot N Cold, P!nk Who Knew, Britney Spears Circus].

 

The Rock/Pop sound similar to P!nk can be achieved easily again, but with those producers it would just be more commercial/21st century sounding.

i want her to work with the people who Josh mentioneds and also Guy Sigsworth who produced Flavors Of Entanglement by Alanis Morissette, that album had some great rocky type songs and some electro/rocky songs that Ana could do
