October 21, 200816 yr Rachel has just posted to say: There's now another short video clip on the Songs of Praise website for next week's show with a quick shot of Darius singing. Also I've been on the site and checked on DVDs: Can I get a copy of a particular episode? Unfortunately not. We are unable to send out copies of the programme, past or present, on VHS/DVD, and it is not available to purchase in the shops because of copyright and contractual reasons. If you live in the UK, Songs of Praise is available to watch again online through the BBC iPlayer. Can I watch Songs of Praise again online? Yes, if you live in the UK. You can watch the most recent episode of Songs of Praise using the BBC iPlayer. Where can I purchase the Songs of Praise CD? The Songs of Praise Album is available in all major record stores and in most supermarkets. The best way for you to purchase a copy of the new CD is by purchasing online. The BBC shop has it listed on their website: www.bbcshop.com. Unfortunately the Songs of Praise Album hasn't been released outside the UK, and we don't know of any plans for this to happen. Perhaps the songs Darius sings will make a cd :D
October 22, 200816 yr I hope so - fancy me thinking of buying a songs of praise cd. mum'd love it though.
October 22, 200816 yr "There's now another short video clip on the Songs of Praise website for next week's show with a quick shot of Darius singing". Thanks. Just had a look. Last week we got a distance shot of Darius - this week it's a close up of him singing - but there's still no sound. Same with Blake. They really do like to keep their show under wraps until it's shown.
October 22, 200816 yr Author does he? he looked great to me - I am nervous now in case I have too high an expectation of his singing,,.he looks so good, mind you I am always nervous before I actaully hear him - then his voice blows me away all over a gain every time! didnt nina see him live..reassure me he was on great form and the songs were great Edited October 22, 200816 yr by prettyinpink
October 22, 200816 yr She did - and he was. He just looked a lttle puffy to me - almost as though he was fighting a cold.
October 22, 200816 yr PiP - he sounded amazing. Couldn't really see what he looked like. We were so high up. He might have been puffy because he was jet lagged.
October 23, 200816 yr I think he has lost his suntan......hopefully because he has been in the studio working.
October 23, 200816 yr I've just never seen him looking like that - even when he's been so tired he's nearly falling over.
October 23, 200816 yr The bare face and scrubbed-up look are a big change from the 'tache and sideburns we got used to.
October 23, 200816 yr does he? he looked great to me - I am nervous now in case I have too high an expectation of his singing,,.he looks so good, mind you I am always nervous before I actaully hear him - then his voice blows me away all over a gain every time! didnt nina see him live..reassure me he was on great form and the songs were great I still remember how my heart was absolutely pounding  before he made his first appearance as Billy Flynn. That 25 mins (approx) before he hit the stage, got scarier by the second and seemed to last hours. As he appeared and spoke the words "Is everybody here? Is everybody ready? Hit it!" and then when he started to sing my aprehension left me and I just knew he would be great, and oh was he Sorry back on track, I couldn't get the clip to play :( When I tried it just says "not available in your area" :( Did someone say there is no sound anyway?
October 23, 200816 yr No sound, BP, and a very brief appearance.....3 seconds? But not long now to Sunday.
October 23, 200816 yr There was when I played it, though not Darius. Avril was on pins that night. She couldn't relax until half way through his first number.
October 23, 200816 yr Sorry, that was what I meant.....no sound of D singing, only the commentator speaking. Why was Avril so nervous, was he ill?
October 24, 200816 yr No, i was her son's first ever appearance on a West End stage. We all knew he could sing but none of us could be absolutely sure he'd suit the part. We should have had faith.
