I have only read good comments on sites I have popped into, I cant imagine anyone would try to suggest he was miming on SOP, that really would show them up to be stupid. I had to rewatch again last night - to think later with Jules Holland, about the only music program left has music so dire that SOP offers me more enjoyment, its an embarrassment these days, especially when I KNOW Darius has more talent in his little finger than people given air time on these shows.

I hate to admit it but, 'From A Distance' is growing on me.

just keep playing towards the end - when he opens up more, I have watched umpteenth times, and the lump in my throat and the emotion is still getting me, I always feel Darius performs songs so well - my daughter watching last night said he was singing really well, and that wouldnt it be wierd if he was actually god - she wanted to know why darius always seemed to be looking right at her(something he seems to make everyone feel) - it makes me feel all funny she said, not sure if that would be funny the way I feel..after all she is only just 9!! but she really took in the lyrics of the song which she had never heard before and obviously Darius had her attention as she stopped playing her DS when he was on, only resuming when he stopped.

That thought will come to my mind every time I see him watching the audience - see Nina, pip has just explained everything. Now, don't you dare sleep again.

I wonder what sites PIP has popped into to read comments. I am like PIP have played and played it again as love to hear his voice. love the deep notes and when he gets stronger and then fades slightly only to come back stronger again.

You've met a good few Darius fans. If you were him, wouldn't you keep an eye on them at all times?

 

Seriously, I've never seen Darius close his eyes when he's singing.

 

He likes to make a connection with his audience and if he's static, he still tries to sing to every section of it. He's always known how to work a stage. I'm sure that lots of people around the spot he looks at, will be drawn into that gaze. In the real world those eyes are warm and kind - on stage they are so intense.

 

You can see him doing it on the Big Sing. There's a point in INTEH where he's directing his singing to the upper tiers and he looks as if he's looking up to God rather than "the gods".

It's not Darius' voice I find fault in in this, I just can't watm to the arrangement. I can to his voice though. I'll have to keep listening.

I am surprised meg.This is quite an old song/hymn now but always loved it and bet midlers other song the wind beneath my wings.

I was disappointed with 'At the name of Jesus' .......not the tune that I know at all. I was so pleased to recognise one of the hymns

from school-days, then it was sung to an unrecognisable dirge.

 

Someone on WOS has said that D should be brought into Joseph as replacement but it seems that peter andre may be doing it. Wouldnt it be good if the link Baytree posted re Ds performance at the Big sing happened to be posted on there just to show his real ability.

I too wish they'd recorded at least one show and released the music.
