Last year, I was really hoping Change would reach 900,000. :(

i was too. that seemed like the precendent! and when you look vs. other studio albums at first week sales, chart peak, top 75 weeks, and the fact the lead single was their most successful yet any way you look at it, i'm still slightly baffled at how it didn't sell more (know the next singles weren't as successful but the figures don't add up)

What are we realistically hoping for C&S do you think??

I think C&S will get close to Change's figures- i really do! I think the album will pick up a lot when the other singles come out!
I don't know, because a lot of Change's sales came from the Christmas run. Being top 25 in Christmas week is like 30k+ sales which helps hugely, whereas Catfights is likely only to be Top 40 if that at Christmas. So hmm.. we'll see.
lets just wait and see. I love this album and i pity those that haven't got it because of Girls- hopefully they will buy it after listening to the other singles
At the moment, its looking like it'll be lucky to sell 150,000. Things had better pick up and fast

I reckon C&S will out sell One Touch, but only just.

if it hits Plat. then i will be highly shocked.

Unless of course the bloody thing shoots back up the chart after NCD & EHB.

#26 erk. big drop this week. know we expected it following midweeks but it still makes me sad :(

CATFIGHTS AND SPOTLIGHTS

#8 week 1 : 23,123

#26 Week2 : 10,270

Total sales : 33,393

Not too good at all... it is early days but the 2nd single will be very cruical ... if this album can redeem it's poor sales.

It will probably struggle to do more than 100,000 by the end of the year... going by these 2 weeks sales trend.

yeah, hopefully the record label pull their fingers out and do something!

I have a feeling Children in need may help it out a little before Christmas!

They are also turning on the Oxford Street Christmas lights

These have been known for over a week now. ^_^

oh well sorry i didnt see :S
Overloaded has climbed 10 places this week to 94 :o

Actually, I don't think that this album will flop ..

No can do is the new single (good choice) and it will be massive, they just have to do GOOD promotion, not only in UK but also in europe .. Girls isn't promoted here at all and the album is out here but it is not in the charts .. bad

The album isn't out in Europe is it? It isn't out in Germany, Aus and Switz anyway... it's out there in January.

It's allready here in the netherlands

its actually quite interesting with the release of No Can Do that it is released the week after christmas week. Last year, the week after christmas was like the biggest sales week for singles all year, (what with youngsters getting their ipods for christmas and going on a download spending spree). If this happens again this year, then it might actually be harder for No Can Do to make an impact what with christmas songs gonna take at least 10 places in the top 40 (All I Want for Christmas is already being downloaded this year).

Its actually gonna be really interesting to say well No Can Do performs

Ive been a lover of them since they started out but this album is not impressive at all - im surpised actually

There are one or 2 good songs but its hard to listen to a whole song without wanting to skip onto the next one ...which is not good
