Nelly recently did an interview and confirmed she is working on her 4th album and confirms her marriage.

 

 

 

 

 

Looks like we're getting the Spanish/Portuguese album. Which i'm sure most fans won't be too pleased about eek. Maybe she'll do a Shakira and translate it into English songs eventually who knows? Thoughts?

 

But yay for news on the Nelly comeback <3

What! Its been ages since her last album we cant just wait three years for an album in a different language.

Better than no album at all i guess.

personally don't understand why she's doing a Portuguese / Spanish album seeing as she's just Portuguese! But hey, more Nelly is always good

I don't think the Portuguese/Spanish thing will happen personally... Probably just be like Loose and have a couple of songs with different languages on it. It's quite obviously something she wants to do though...she has mentioned it enough times. I just don't see her record company being very supportive of the idea. Especially as most fans like someone said have been waiting on near 3 years.

I loved her previous songs that were sung in Spanish like "In Gods Eyes", "All Good Things" & "Try" so I don't see why it'll put people off, because her music in a different language is beautiful

I want Forca-esque Nelly back :(

This could be either good or bad. I'll have to wait and find out.

Would be a shame if it's in spanish or portuguese since I don't speak those languages and lyrics are very important to me. :(

 

I don't mind a couple of songs on the album though.

It's because she's a worldwide star now. Well, she was before Loose, but it completely reinvented her.

I can't imagine them being supportive, as I highly doubt an album in another language will do as well as her previous efforts.

Loose was perfect. It was diverse, and was appealing to everyone.

She is apparently working with Flo Rida.

Well tbh Flo Rida is actually quite good when it comes to production, IMO. As long as it doesn't go any further then that, I could see it coming out quite good.

 

I really would like her to go back to her Folklore producers though, that album has become one of my fave albums of all time.

She features on a Flo Rida track on his new record. WOO. I'm not that bothered really. He's better than JAMES MORRISON anyway.
