Flyleaf are an alternative metal band from Texas. Their debut self-entitled studio album was first released on October 4, 2005. It debuted at #88 on the Billboard 200 chart. Their fully released singles include I'm So Sick, Fully Alive and most successful All Around Me. According to Rolling Stones Magazine the band along with Paramore are the 2008 breakout bands. On October 30 2007, the band rereleased the album which was repackaged as a CD DVD Version. The rerelease ice the same tracks on it except acoustic versions of Cassie, Im So Sick, Fully Alive and more were added. The DVD has exclusive interviews with Flyleaf, music videos of All Around Me, Fully Alive and I'm So Sick. The version also band with a free ringtone of All Around Me along with a locker poster. Flyleaf sold over 23100 copies in its first two week. They jumped 59 spots on the Billboard 200 chart up to #62. The album was hugely publicized on the website Purevolume and sold over 1 MILLION albums in the US alone certifying it as platinum. The album was also rereleased in the UK on January 14, 2008 with three additional acoustic versions. The album was released with major record label, Polydor. I'm So Sick appears on the game Rock Band and Perfect appears on the PC MAC video game.

sounds all right, im not too keen on female frontyed metal though. (in a non sexist way obvs)

I love female fronted metal. Lacey along with Sharon from WT are stunning. A really underrated band and album imo. You have to at least like I'm So Sick just a little bit? :kink

they are good singers i just dont think they fit with the music.

I think they do. A total male genre doesn't work for some fans. So the four or five female fronted bands there are sort of balance it out at the same time getting more metal fans just because it is female fronted. Afterall I was pop lover gone rock/metal because of a female fronted band.

if they dont know who NIN are then that is not there fault.

So Sick is an alright song but I find the singers lisp annoying to listen to.
