June 17, 200619 yr Ghana really played some enjoyable football then. They looked physically strong and imposing and didn't go with the whole obligitaory notion, that all the African Nations seem to be doing, in putting 10 men behind the ball and constantly being on the defensive side of play. But I am by no means going to get carried away with the hype. Personally I feel USA will beat them in the next match and send them crashing back down to reality AND back home.

June 17, 200619 yr That was my favourite match of the tournament by a LONG way. I'm rating all the ones I see and wil lcount it down at the end. It's out of 40 and that's got 4 pts more than any other game so far! I'd drug test all of the Ghanian players though. I'm still quite shocked at how well they played compared to the game with Italy. Cech was the man of the match though, he made 5 or 6 FANTASTIC saves. Ghana will certainly miss Gyan and Muntari though in the next match, they were their two best players. USA certainly have a chance!

If it was Brazil who'd beaten Czechs 2-0 it wouldn't have been nearly as good, but to see such an underdog all over one of the better sides in this year's World Cup was outstanding.

June 17, 200619 yr Author Well that was a stupid incident elbowed the US in the face for no reason, Italy are down to 10 men, at this rate they will be down to 9 men, if they don't watch it, they are really messing things up.
