Tonight is the last part of 'Catastrope', with Tony Robinson relating the history of Planet Earth. It has been interesting, but

hardly Xmas week viewing. But looking through the Radio Times, I am not impressed by the holiday offerings.

You'll be surprised to hear that I've not looked. Dave has though. Tonight i nearly got to watch 'The Brothers Grim'. I saw about 3, 10 min segmants. One day I'll have seen all the bits and may be able to put the bits together.

I thought it was just me. I was looking through the TV suppliment from the Sunday Times and I was really underwhelmed by what's on offer. Sue

Well, TV doesn't bother me anyway. I don't think we'll be watching much anyway.
With older children around, why would you ? This is the age to make your own fun.

It seems that, as Merlin was a success particularly with the young ones, we are now to be bombarded with similar programmes.

Tonight we have 'Demons'.

Well, I watched 'Demons' to give it a fair trial. Rubbish, attempting to ride on the back of Merlin's success.

Similar to X factor cashing in on the original Pop Stars and Pop Idol, following the same idea but lacking the originality and talent.

I thought the Xmas period TV was very disappointing, far too many repeats, especially shows dug up from the archives.

Couldn't agree more about the holiday viewing, and as for Demons ,what on earth was all that about? Sue

Me,Bri and Chris quite enjoyed Demons, then again Bri and Chris like these sort of programmes anyway.

I conpletly agree about the xmas viewing though, most of what they had to offer was utter rubbish!

Watching the Anne Frank Diaries programme. A good few years ago, as tourists, we went into the attic where they hid.

Don't think I could live in such close, confined space for any length of time. But the alternative was so terrible, I guess I

could have done in those circumstances. The atrocities were beyond belief.

One of my favourite programmes is back tonight........... Hustle. Marc Warren (Danny) has left the series, so there will be

new faces. I see Matt Di Angelo is in it. I've never seen him act, but he was in Strictly Dancing. Adrian Lester is back after

his stint in Bonekickers.

The latest scam is an email supposedly from the Inland Revenue, offering you a tax rebate.

Don't click on any links, it's a scam to get your details.

Inland Revenue do not contact by email.

This was on the radio today.

Thanks, bramley. I haven't checked my e-mails for weeks. I'll probably have hundreds to wade through and might have opened that one when I was fatigued.
