The Promise is new at #4 in the Irish single chart, beating Leona's Forgive me (new at #5)! :cheer:

 

The Girls sign the highest entry of the week, and more importantly it is their highest charting single in Ireland since I'll Stand By You peaked at #3 back in 2004 ! :cheer:

This is fantastic news for GA, its good to see them back in the Irish top 5. CTS and SKO deserved to do much better in Ireland.

I'm surprised it's not higher considering they had the XF performance which airs in Ireland. Leona has had no promo by comparison and only charted one place lower. The UK #1 will make up for it though. ;)

im disapointed by number 4 an di know number 4 is great but i was sure it would be top 3 this week so i hope it climbs next week,,still on a brigher note its good to see them top 5 here again

It might be cos there was 2 sales days before the X Factor performance. I hope it might go up or at least stick around for a while

i think it will stick around for a while as both cant speak french and call the shots did,,leona will prob be number 1 next week but im hoping the girls can move into the top 3

Yeah, that is a shame. Im just glad they didnt realese it in the UK the same time as the X Factor though.
