Lately 'Idol' alum Katharine McPhee has been spotted outside their office and such, her last.fm page confirms that she has been signed to the label. Near the bottom it says 'Get exclusive tour, release & promotion updates on Katharine McPhee from Universal Music. ' with Universal Logo next to it. Universal is home to some of todays biggest and most respected artists artists including Kanye West, Lady GaGa, Nelly Furtado and many more!

 

In related news Katharine confirmed a couple months back she will have a new album out early-mid 2009

I loved her debut album so im looking forward to this :) Universal have got some great artists :wub:

Alot better then RCA...they also don't give up on an artist of their first single isn't massive. I can't believe they gave up on her when she still had a #1 album and a top 30 hit.

I Luv Katharine!!!! I've always compared her with another one of my fave American Idols, Jordin Sparks.

They sound really alike, yet I Do indentify their voices lol

 

I Really Hope She does better on the charts this time round. #1 album perhaps?
