^ LOL. By direction do you mean the total lack of? There's been little to no structure to this series, so skittish, It skips from one set of ideas to another so quickly and kills off developing storylines in a flash. Daniel's son thing, Christina being pushed to Betty's random love interest, her own house to moving home, random appearances by Lindsay Lohan and then this weird Wilhelmina storyline which has been cut dead quickly. It's all so aimless and I struggle to be pulled into it and feel anything for any of the characters now. The occasional touching moment but to me the show just doesn't seem to be going anywhere at all which is a shame given the high standard of season 1 and 2. I can only enjoy so much of "Mess up at Mode — Betty saves the day". Yawnz.

I still quite enjoy the show but it has gone down the tubes a a lil bit this far into the season. I don't like the whole thing where they just drop story lines. Probably why new episodes will stop airing later this month, sadly, to make way for returning/new shows. :(

So, I don't know if anyone has heard about when the show will be returning again in America? I heard this season is supposed to finish up starting in June...

Good to hear that there will be a next season! Was really starting to wonder and it is still a good and enjoyable show imo.

Any news on it being shown on the UK? I know it's on hiatus in the US, but will we be getting it soon?

Well apparently Betty is back on US screens at the end of April (not sure if thats true though :P)

Rumours now are that UK will get series 3 sometime in June or July and that if timed well, like C4 did wit Desperate HW 4 and 5, Betty 4 could begin the following week after 3 ends here.

Does that make sense lol?

Someones coming back....

Christopher Gorham has closed a deal to reprise his role as Henry in Ugly Betty.

Creator Silvio Horta has confirmed that Gorham will reappear in the show's two-hour finale when Betty runs into Henry and his new girlfriend.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Betty and Henry agree to go on a double date to prove to themselves that they've moved on.

"As Henry and Betty reconnect, it could potentially threaten her relationship with Matt," teased Horta.

"Chris has always been, and will always be, part of the Ugly Betty family."

This season's finale will air in the US on May 21.

Pretty eventful and a few shocks! Good comeback episode in my opinion. ^_^ Even if there's 10 minutes left still!

EDIT: WOAH at the preview for next week's episode.

Vanessa Williams has revealed that a lesbian storyline has been cut from Ugly Betty.

Speaking to New York Daily News, Williams - aka Wilhelmina Slater - said that the proposed relationship would have been between Claire (Judith Light) and Victoria (Christine Baranski).

"[ABC]put the kibosh on it," she said. "I don't know why."

Executive producer Silvio Horta confirmed: "We thought about it, but ultimately decided to go in a direction that would set up more stories for next season."

If it had been lesbian Willie I'd have been interested but not Claire.

Victoria is Matt's mother I think.

Thinking back actually I always saw hints of something between Claire and Yoga. They never did explore that more.
