November 5, 200816 yr Maybe you just have bad taste  Disappear, Broken Hearted Girl, Halo are all amazing :o Mikal supplies me with some of the best songs around ^_^
November 5, 200816 yr I've been told this is the worst album of the year. ;o Probably true LOL. I'll download for myself later.
November 5, 200816 yr Author Oh my word... Halo is absolutely AMAZING!! It gave me shivers when she did the ooooooooooo bit. I seriously hope this is going to be the second single, It could be up there with my fave Beyonce/Destinys Child songs EVER :D:D Sweet Dreams is excellent, Ive always liked that one :) and Radio is pretty great! and I kinda like Diva, it's very different to anything she has done before She has done a really good job of Ave Maria too. There are some pretty rubbish ones on there though. I am impressed with this album and cannot wait to buy it, but not sure its as good as B'Day :(
November 5, 200816 yr Author Simon Cowell is reportedly furious after Beyoncé was given a song originally intended for Leona Lewis' new album. Lewis had been expected to record 'Halo' and release it as the first single from her second album. The song was written for The X Factor winner by OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who also penned 'Bleeding Love'. The track was then given to Beyoncé because Lewis was "too busy to record it", according to The Sun. "Leona’s diary is so rammed it didn’t look like she could record it until next year. Ryan didn’t want to hang around, so he gave it to Beyoncé," an insider told the newspaper. "Simon is miffed about this as he really wanted 'Halo' for Leona. Ryan has proved he’s got the magic touch - 'Bleeding Love' was a massive global hit." Lewis is expected to release the follow up to debut album Spirit in 2009 and embark on a world tour the following year. From Digital Spy LMAO, I wonder if this is true :P Its an excellent song and Leona would have done a brilliant job with it, but Im so happy it went to beyonce, the song is just perfect :D and here is the song on Youtube: (Doubt it will be on there for very long though) GrKLVyRjk08 Edited November 5, 200816 yr by Mikeyjosh
November 5, 200816 yr wow this album is about extremes from the very good to the downright awful! on first listen the best tracks are the grabbers like "radio" (nice fergiesque type singing intro and anthmic chorus, just love the part she sing "he's got a place in my heart") just wonderful!! but the best by a mile is "sweet dreams" (love the daft punkesque intro with such a feel good catchy hook) beyonce at her best!! what the hell is going on with the singing on "hello"??!! its just awful "halo" very commercial one republic sounding, too safe and way too calculating of a track, all the "halo" chanting is annnoying! i don't feel this at all its just too over blown another wtf moment is "diva" the hottest of mess with a ton of attitude this will be a t***** anthem no doubt! but after 1 listen i have had enough of this track.
November 5, 200816 yr Do I even dare? :( Is there anyone dancey on there? What happened to the idea of an album with the freemasons? I would have probably enjoyed that. Green Light (Freemasons) <333333333333
November 5, 200816 yr "halo" very commercial one republic sounding, too safe and way too calculating of a track, all the "halo" chanting is annnoying! i don't feel this at all its just too over blown another wtf moment is "diva" the hottest of mess with a ton of attitude this will be a t***** anthem no doubt! but after 1 listen i have had enough of this track. Agreed on these two points. 'Halo' to me seems to have been concieved through a checklist: soppy lyrics √ nice synthy "emotive" backing √ repetition of key word √ Atmospheric plodding beat √ It's far too contrived and bland for my taste. Though an obvious hit. 'Diva' is a remake of Lil Wayne's 'A Milli'. Beyoncé frustrates me. For someone so huge she certainly lacks any originality, any real work ethic or musical passion as far as I can see. She gives so little. It's as if she'd rather have your money before she has your musical respect.
November 5, 200816 yr Can anyone hook me up with the album? Or at least Halo and Sweet Dreams? I'm getting desperate here!
November 5, 200816 yr I'm on track 5 of her CD and it's all ballads. Where's the Crazy In Love/Deja Vu-style songs?

November 5, 200816 yr I read this story earlier on and after hearing the song on youtube a few times....it is imo the best song Beyonce has EVER done....i fricking LOVE it and Ryan Tedder is a GOD (Take a Bow and Bleeding Love, both produced and co written by him are the best tracks on Leonas album!) Part of me still wishes Leona got to sing it tho as I like her more than I like ms Knowles.....(although i love them both lol) but Beyonce really did ace this track :)
November 6, 200816 yr After a few listens, its a really forgettable album... Except for a few songs (Halo, Sweet Dreams) its pure BLAH Was she HIGH when she done this tracklist?? Video Phone  WTF IS THIS?!! Edited November 6, 200816 yr by Joao Filipe
