Posted November 3, 200816 yr A JOURNALIST is being investigated and may lose her job over a botched TV interview with singer Pink. New Zealand broadcaster TVNZ is looking into the incident which involved its Australian correspondent, Hannah Hodson, during an interview in Sydney last month. The interview went so badly Pink walked out and her management tried to forcefully remove the tape from TVNZ's camera, Stuff.co.nz reports. While the cameras were rolling, Hodson reportedly started asking Pink why she had sacked Hodson's sister, who was once an assistant to the star. After Pink left there are claims the pop star's minder and two TVNZ employees fought over the videotape of the interview. Hodson declined to comment on the incident when contacted by news.com.au. The interview was due to appear on New Zealand current affairs show Close Up, but sources said it was a "train wreck" that will never be aired. A TVNZ spokesperson confirmed an investigation was taking place and that Hodson had flown home to Auckland to give her side of the story. It's not the first time Hodson has had a run in with a celebrity. Last year in Sydney she upset Nicole Kidman on the red carpet at a screening of The Golden Compass. "What about some of the reviews, I mean, one person called it an embarrassing, colossal piece of c**p. How do you take that kind of criticism?" Hodson asked, Stuff.co.nz reports. Kidman replied: "That's a charming thing. I didn't know that. You're a sweet woman, aren't you," before walking off. In 2004 Hodson was sacked from New Zealand broadcaster TV3 for revealing the identity of a whistleblower involved in the case of missing Auckland model Iraena Asher.
