Posted June 10, 200619 yr Hey guys, Christina didn't wanna keep you in the dark for too long. All she can say right now is both her and Def Jam agreed to end their relationship due to creative differences. And she felt she wasn't getting the proper attention needed for her album. It's all for the best! And don't worry, she will have a new home soon. In the meantime be sure to go see "Pulse" and enjoy So Amazin'! www.christinamilian.org Its said that she is signing with the label that Dr. Dre (christinas boyfriend) is making called Epidemic. I think she will be better off, Def Jam didnt promote her like they should have!
June 10, 200619 yr True, where did her new album peak in the uk? Hopefully we will get another single? do you think we will now that she has left the label?
June 10, 200619 yr it was supposed to be 'gonna tell everybody' but the album peaked at #67 here and although got to #11 in the U>s, fell the next week to something like #56

June 10, 200619 yr Don't blame her, they didn't promote her as they should have. They were too busy with other artists like Mariah and Rihanna probably :(
June 10, 200619 yr "creative differences", LMAO!!!! Don´t blame it on lack of promotion she didn´t sell because it´s $h!t, and many other artists sell more then her with even less promo, she is just a mini J-Lo, why would anybody waste money buying her records... Remember how much airplay she had with Dip It Low and how much it played on MTV, it´s not the labels fault if nobody thought she was decent enough to buy her albums... RIP.
June 10, 200619 yr She will be back, she has been around for ages, she wont just go away after this one fault
June 11, 200619 yr She will be back, she has been around for ages, she wont just go away after this one fault Don't get me wrong I don't agree with what Dido Fan said by any stretch of the imagination but this isn't just one fault, all of Christinas albums have done this. She was with Sony, and her singles did well over here, but her self titled debut album bombed. Then she moved to Def Jam, and released It's About Time, Dip It Low did really well but the album flopped over here and in the US. And now the same thing has happened again, quite a popular first single but no one wants the album. I have all 3 of her albums, and I really liked them all, they all sound different, but my favourite is It's About Time.
June 11, 200619 yr I agree with what you say :P...I like that album too! Whatever U Want is soooooooooooooo underrated :o
June 11, 200619 yr I agree with what you say :P...I like that album too! Whatever U Want is soooooooooooooo underrated :o One of my favourite songs in a LONG time, I prefer Whatever U Want to Dip It Low.... I love them both but I prefer WUW. :D
June 11, 200619 yr "Creative differences" is always the excuse used when someone has been dropped. I doubt this is the last we will hear of her though. And I agree, 'Whatever You Want' was brilliant and underrated. I heard it in a club a few months ago and it sounded great at high volume on the dancefloor.
June 11, 200619 yr Yeh she's great, I hope she comes back soon with a new album and record label :D she'll probably just be shifted over to another unit of Universal Music opperations
June 11, 200619 yr Yeah WUW should have done better, i would like at least a second single from her current album though, she never does any promotion either!
June 11, 200619 yr any fans of this then? http://www.axelmusic.com/resources/covers/0/043396031708.jpg
June 11, 200619 yr Can anyone tell me if there's a version of 'Whatever You Want' without the obligatory pointless rap in it? I wanna know for sure before I try and bother getting hold of it. :P
