What's on Stage is asking for nominations for there awards. While I'm aware that GWTW has little chance, it is still one of the best peices of theatre I've seen.

Thanks, megham. I shall nominate both darius and Jill because I think their performancves were right up there with the best in the West End. I fear however that that will be generally forgotten because the show is no longer running and is seen to be a 'flop' when it was nothing of the sort.

 

I personally am also nominating Natasha Yvette Williams for best supporting actress in a musical.

 

Although GWTW was not Darius's first West End role, I'm also nominating him for best newcomer because I remember that the last time Darius was up for an award for Chicago, the guy who won best newcomer had been in several plays.

I didn't do best newcomer and I can't go back and alter the form. I also voted for natasha.

I don't know what I can fill in for many of the other categories. It's the first time in years I haven't been to at least one play in London.

 

The year has flown past in a whirlwind and I only managed to see Darius twice, by the skin of my teeth, far less fitting in any other entertainment in London.

I didn't fill in anything else as nothing seemed as good as GWTW and I feel cheesed off about it.

I have voted.

I hope other people do. It seemed to be only the critics and a very few audience members who didn't think it was great.

Where is everybody, where is everybody...... I'm so excited..... I haven't been around very much as my Mum is not well and I have been staying with her and not had computer access.....but have 'popped home' for a couple of days and just checked 'Whatsonstage. com'......

 

DARIUS HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR 'BEST ACTOR IN A MUSICAL'!!!! I'm so excited!!!!! Just the recognition has got to do him good, even if he doesn't win. He is up against some stiff competition but let's all get voting when we can!!!! :cheer: :yahoo:
